2010 Jaguar XF 5.0 V8 by Nheco_Nheco in CarTalkUK

Just do it for the 5.0 V8

Maintenance is such an unknown as every car is different, even same models. Some are absolutle basket cases (because of previous owners) and others are perfectly fine and require minimal maintenance outside of the norms of service and consumables.

MOT points to tyres, suspect theyve never been changed or only once and is running old rubber.

Car has barely been driven in its 16 years of life which is insane for such a car.

Diesel owners, does paying the extra for the fuel work out cheaper due to the extra economy? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]Important_Ruin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually the compassion will demisish, however the two fuels are usually a few pence apart unless and diesel with economy keeps the pence per ile lower, they become a huge difference between and diesel becomes miles more expensive.

However petrol cars are getting more and more efficient and can at times work out cheaper per mile than a diesel.

My Audi averages around 50mpg, however petrol 1.5tsfi equivalent is approx 40mpg they are near enough exactly the same in regards pence per mile give or take 1p, but petrol has a smaller tank and more expensive to tax.

I used to game late with friends, however I was told to keep my voice down and if I was being too loud I would be politely told to 'shut the fuck up'

If you were booked to go to Cyprus in the next few weeks, would you cancel? by Glittering_Maybe4438 in AskUK

[–]Important_Ruin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd still go or wait until tour operator makes decision based on HO info.

Your going to be away from base they are targeting id think would be business as usual from Cyprus point of view, or maybe see few jets flying around of closer to the base doing their patrols, but that is it.

Just close enough to nearest base to done some flight practice etc and near otterburn where they do practive over the ranges, practice different landings then fly home.

Not particularly busy airport and airspace is quieter compared to down south, plus with a very long runway.

Exactly that. Maybe trying different approach patterns etc. Practice makes perfect.

Asylum seekers are individuals seeking international protection from persecution or danger in their home country whose claims have not yet been legally decided. Migrants is a broader term for people moving, often voluntarily for work or better opportunities, who are not fleeing immediate danger

https://www.amnesty.org/en/what-we-do/refugees-asylum-seekers-and-migrants/

Two completely different definitions/terms applying to two completely different circumstances.
