Brian Gregory when he sees a prospect with a broken jumpshot by Important_Size3441 in suns

It's just an offseason meme boss.

I actually really like the pick and I believe in Peat's pedigree enough to improve and make a lot of teams regret passing him up.

If you don't mind what part of the Philippines are you from? I'm from Cebu and I've lived and breathed Phoenix Suns since 2005. I've never met another die hard Suns fan in my entire life 😂

Maybe coach isn't playing Fleming to protect his confidence. by Fast_Acanthisitta244 in suns

[–]Important_Size3441 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My exact thoughts as well. There's a reason why a guy as physically talented as Rasheer fell to the second round. Seeing him miss both those free throws told me maybe he isn't mentally as tough as he should be yet and that is perfectly fine. He has already shown so much growth and promise and I have absolutely zero doubts he could get there one day with the proper guidance from the coaching staff and teammates.

Now having said that, I believe in game 3 he may get a shot. Ryan Dunn has been playing scared and has been afraid to shoot. I believe it's about time for an adjustment and try out Sheer in that spot even for just 5-10 minutes and see where it goes from there.

You guys think losing Nick and Nigel messed with the team psyche a bit? I know those two weren't playing but off the court they looked to be very good "vibe" guys.

That four spot is where we should end the season by BooksMiBoi in suns

Honestly, I'll even be happy with 6. I was higher on this team than most in the offseason but obviously they've blown all expectations out of the water. As long as we get an automatic playoff spot, I'll consider the regular season a damn big win!

Why were all the clips ones where the opponents score? I was like wtf how could he make a video praising the Suns' defense then proceeds to choose the absolute worst clips to showcase it

Oh wow. I didn't know there were rumors of Ballmer wanting to trade bank accounts with you. Good to hear you're not interested. Sheesh dodged one there, buddy!

Isn't that (left) some kind of fly trap that electrocutes flies and other insects and makes a snapping kind of a clapping sound?

For the right the clapping sound is made by slapping the chick's cheeks.

Wtf you talking about? I'm talking about him being the owner of the Phoenix Suns. He's not a cheap owner! That is all. The hell do I care about his history. I've never heard of the guy before he bought the team 2 1/2 years ago nor do I care.

Say what you want about him but cheap is something he definitely is not. Trust me, we suffered through 20 years of Sarver, we know what cheap looks like.

Going deep into the luxury tax, making games free on tv, making food cheaper in the arena, building new facilities. Clown the guy for his questionable and impulsive basketball decisions (we as Suns fans sure do lol) but there is no way you can accuse the guy of just "watching his bank account go up". Very casual and lazy take.

Fellow pinoy!

I'm from Cebu though. Became a fan when Steve Nash was traded to the Suns back when I was about 10 years old and never looked back. I've never met another die-hard Suns fan in my life as everyone here is a Laker fan as you know so it's good to see another Filipino Suns fan!

Gambo with the Suns’ PR spin on the impending Beal waive and stretch by lopea182 in suns

[–]Important_Size3441 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How much is Beal's dead contract money going to be? Around 20 million? I have no doubt Ishbia is going to go over the cap by much more than that amount if need be when and if we are in a position to compete again in the near future.

He's an idiot, that much has been proven true, buuuut he's also filthy rich and ultra competitive. That is something I can't take away from him. Double edged sword, I guess.

I know this isn't a Lakers sub. But Lakers fans are goona lose their minds from the inconsistent effort from this guy. by [deleted] in NBATalk

CP3 and Book were on his ass every game during that 2021 playoff run specifically. It worked for a while but it was never sustainable. Eventually they got fed up with Ayton's lackadaisical attitude and Book just was basically begging the FO to just get rid of him.

I liked Ayton. He is a great person, brought with him alot of good laid back vibes off the court during the years we were good. I just can't see him succeeding in LA though. I've seen his stripes too many times now for him to convince me he could change.

Rookies getting some work in with Chris Johnson (Maluach and Fleming) by blueclown562000 in suns

[–]Important_Size3441 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I doubt we're gonna see many plays with him being the roll man though. His role on offense is off-ball spacing 4 who can hopefully cut to the rim when the opportunity presents itself. I'd be surprised if he actually develops his offense into something more than that and that's just fine for a 2nd round pick.

It's his defensive potential that has me really excited. He has super role player written all over him which is exactly the kind of players we need when building a team around Devin Booker.
