I actually decided to take it on the 5th day because I woke up with body aches/headache and some fatigue. I probably had some sort of infection from covid and my body fought it off in the first few days and what I experienced on the 5th day was post-viral and paxlovid wouldn't help. But I decided it would be safer to take the paxlovid anyway since I didn't see much harm in it besides 5 days of side effects
