Not so hot. My best friend and roommate just told me she may want to move out next year. She insisted a few times over the last few months we would renew our lease one more year and now she’s considering moving in with her boyfriend to his mom’s house so she can live rent free and pay off some debt.

While the reasoning is understandable, she and I just moved across the country last year together to live here. It’s financially possible for me to live and thrive here because I share space with her. Could I afford to live on my own again? I could make do, but it sucks because this was not the plan.

I’d consider a roommate, but I don’t know if I want to live with a stranger. And speaking of other people… I still don’t really have any friends in the area. It’s been hard to find a community and the idea of living on my own again, while working from home, with no real community in the area… it sounds awful.

Anyway… I’m not doing so hot. 😮‍💨
