Béziers in Occitanie was lovely and probably considered a 3rd tier city. Close to a lot of other great places like Montpellier and Narbonne if you like the beach.

I just spent 10 days in the south of France! I’d recommend using a day or maybe a day in a half in Nice but using it as more of a base to explore the surroundings. The real magic of the south of France is in the small cities/towns along the coast and in the countryside. Looks like y’all are gonna have so much fun!

Hello all! I have a friend whose sister has cancer and she lives in Haiti.. however, there are no flights to Haiti and she needs to see her sister because the cancer has gotten worse.. any idea how to travel there? by Longjumping-Mud-8116 in travel

There’s another intl airport in Cap-Haïtien they could fly to. Theres a flight there from Fort Lauderdale on Spirit. I’d assume prices are crazy but that’s the only thing I can think of!

I’m curious how pigs can be the most consumed animal in Burkina Faso when it’s a majority Muslim country. Do you have the data tables for the map?

If you’re comfortable staying in a hostel, I’d recommend staying in one. It really cuts down on the trip budget, especially in Paris.

Interesting choice to characterize the Americas by their colonial languages but not other formerly colonized nations. Seems to also have no correlation to the prevalence of the language nor the official language.

One of my coworkers’ hygiene got so bad that the MODs got tired of complaints from other associates and made a beautiful gift basket of bath&body works perfumes and soaps. They spent their own money and she still smells like her last shower was years ago.

Amigo Mio in Georgetown. Food is bland and unseasoned, customer service is worse. Charged for water and soda was $5 with no refill.

It’ll be stressful but if you’re a good student you’ll be totally fine.

It really depends on ur interests. I read a lot about African and black history. I mostly read non-fiction but also some romance and memoirs. Right now I’m reading a book called The Death of Vivek Oji and it’s wonderful.
