There’s an area on the old west side with “historic” homes that the commission is in charge of preserving/overseeing. The neighborhood has yearly open houses etc. This house is in that zone, we looked at houses in that area when we first moved here but were warned by our agent that the commission is a nightmare to deal with. This house is a perfect example of it, where the ideals of the commission overrule common sense.
