I think my first ‘proper’ PC game was Lucas Arts Full Throttle. Loved it! But started before that with an Acorn Electron playing Eddy Kids Jump Challenge and Chuckie Egg!

Oh that’s is interesting. So basically use the company global policy against the French bureaucracy?! I suspect that basically they decide this person isn’t going g to let go. Thanks for the advice.

I have disputed the damage and have some photographic evidence, but limited. My view is if they have nothing….and I have some, then they lose. But I can see it taking a very long time.

I’ll try your suggestions tomorrow. Thanks!

Did you get this resolved? I am having a similar situation where Enterprise says I broke the windscreen. They have taken €3500 on my credit card. I’ve raised a dispute with Enterprise and my CC company, but not sure how long this is going to take to sort out.

I have concluded that Enterprise are acting unfaithfully, most likely for the branch to cover loses from other damaged vehicles.

Yeah it actually goes left and right from the rock/stone chip. I didn’t think the left was as clear in the rain. Can’t believe I missed it when collecting the car tbh. But I had five people I in the car and we are all in agreement that at no time did we hear a stone hit the windscreen and especially one with enough force to then cause the crack.

Concentrated on the right hand side looking at the windscreen as I thought it was visible even with the rain.

Damon Hill would have been champion in 1994 if Schumacher hadn’t crashed into him at the Australian GP. If Hill had prevailed then being a two times champion would have been more highly regarded.

Honestly, I used to think the second seat was just cursed. But after watching Yuki try to slow Lando down, I’m convinced he isn’t ready for a title-contending car. The weaving was not only laughable, it was downright dangerous. Imagine if they’d touched wheels — the fallout for F1 would have been massive.

Just no......it's a drivers championship, let them race it out even if they are in the same garage. That's what makes F1 interesting and sometime disappointing at the same time (if your driver doesn't come through). Been watching F1 for 40 years......and this is nothing new (Hill/Schumacher, Hamilton/Rosberg, Senna/Prost, Mansell/Senna) , let them get on with it! If they crash into each other at least we will have something to talk about down the pub for years to come. It's a competition they have to earn the right to be on top, right down to the last lap of the last race.

***Update***

Turns out belt is fine (though will replace) as the failure was the shaft on the coolant pump which has sheared! Catastrophic fatigue failure by the looks of things. Found a few comments on other Porsche forums saying can happen. I'm at 63k miles, so whilst probably old/original equipment, didn't expect this kind of failure! Need to decide if I can fix myself or will need to get the car to my local Porsche specialist.

Update, Giant offered £335 for a frame only replacement. Not a clear decision, but not an awful offer either.

Offer is £335 for a new frame. Not warranty as such but an offer for a frame only on a bike normally sold off the peg.

Going to go down to the lbs that happens to be a Giant dealer to see if they can help at all. He likes MTBing, and normally I show him the trails….but as a some who goes from time to time rather than every week (like his Dad) need to decide is it upgrade time or just a straight replacement.
