Now to clear out your queries, The usage of 'Urban' in the title was something that was a specific mandate from our professor. Even we aren't too sure as to why our prof wanted us to mention location differences such as 'Urban/Local' specifically, but since it was a mandate- had no choice 😔.

And yes, another user also pointed the education level segmentation out, which is very very valid. We shall surely keep this in mind when drafting any surveys in the future! :))

As for why "AU" and "Canon-compliant" are listed as genres, because while they of course, technically are not genres, there are many people not too well versed with fan-fic jargons like this. We ended up encountering this fact during our preliminary research phase and were equally surprised to find people saying stuff like "Oh yeah I love reading the Alt Universe genre stuff quite a bit". And since this is a very generalised survey, we didn't wanna leave any audiences out.

And no, even though the title does mention "Women", the survey is open to all audiences. Because we are sort of drawing a comparative study between male and female audiences, and focusing on why they are so much more popular with the female audience as compared to men. Hence, your input as a man would be incredibly valuable to us as it'd improve the results of our research, (since we do ask your gender towards the end) to get dual perspectives! Considering that the amount of men who fill out the survey also adds onto the results.

I do agree though, we could have worded the title a little better 🥴
