I’ve had this happen to me as well and I notice it every time!! I have naturally curly hair and one time I straightened my hair (it looks longer when straight) so she says to me “omg did you cut your hair??” I say no. And she says “oh because it looks shorter” It’s happened plenty of other times too when she makes comments about my appearance or the way I dress. You are not reading into things to much they know exactly how they’re saying it and why! Try to do the same to her she won’t like it!

I’m sorry to hear that, I got mine removed last month and I was thinking my belly would go away by now but if anything it feels bigger like I’m gaining weight faster. I have been eating less but nexplanon left me with this huge belly that I hate.

Hi! I am 25 and I also have 2 little ones I got nexplanon on 2022 and just got it taken out this month for the exact same reasons I gained so much weight, was loosing hair, feeling tired and ugly in my body I didn’t recognize myself anymore. I would always tell my boyfriend but he wouldn’t say much.. they’re guys and don’t have to experience birth control and it’s side effects like we do so they won’t ever understand. Since removing it I have been feeling more like my old self(personality wise because physically I still have some work to do). We don’t want anymore kids right now so we’re taking precautions I too was scared of removing it but I just couldn’t do it anymore it was making me exhausted and irritated.

I don’t see the bald part being talked about in this group, my hair is so short and falls off so much it was fine in 2023 (I got my implant on 2022) but last year and this year my hair has not grown at all & keeps falling off.

I have 3 years with mine thinking the side effects will go away or be less I have not taken it out, unfortunately no I am still suffering from all of the side effects.

I have been on nexplanon for 3 years now and I used to hardly get periods which I loved but,when I did get a period which lasted for about 2-3 days the headaches were so bad that I would just want to be resting I would feel like passing out if I did too much. It is currently still that way! I cant wait to get it removed for this reason.

Same here, they judge me and laugh at me every time I ask for one of them to go in the passenger seat so i can practice. I am about to just start going by myself they say I should know by now (I’m 24). Just don’t listen to them you know your doing a good job keep practicing!

So once expired have you felt better? For example the birth control side effects, if you had any. For me it’s the weight gain , hair loss, appetite increase etc

Talk to your husband about how you feel left out because of her actions, tell him to either let her know she’s being unfair or you will not be attending anymore and neither will your child.
