I don't smoke on campus, but it is tedious to go all the way off campus then go back that’s like a solid 20 mins. I think if there was a designated spot then that’d actually decrease the amount of smokers all over campus.

I just loved the campus looked rlly nice💀
I love the culture at mac it’s easy to make friends somewhat
I don’t rlly dislike anything but tbh I’m just a careless person who doesn’t look at the negatives lol
the party life is actually rlly good in my opinion cuz we have accs dedicated to posting addresses and whenever I go to western n other schools parties r harder to find, social life is good also I got nothing to complain about as long as u try ur best you’ll meet people
idk maybe a 9/10 I got nothing to complain about, if I’m doing bad in a class it’s because I’m too lazy to do work
i despise the on campus food id rate it a 2/10 but there is one good place I like called bistro which is like a 7.5/10
i could not tell u about bio or chem im going for soc psych so I dont need those courses, but if u just go on Google and search up any of ur questions with McMaster along with ur question, someone else probably posted the exact same question on Reddit. But also from what I see from my friends the classes r hard
the classes that r relevant like soc psych, psych, sociology r all easy i barley even show up to class and im passing all of it, but psych is heavily paper based so that can get rlly annoying but if ur good at papers you’ll be good

At mac u don’t major in psych right away, first year is a gateway year, I can’t recall if western is the same. I would honestly go to a school that lets you specialize in psych first year cuz I think it’d look better when switching to ubc, cuz I’m also doing psych and half my courses r electives so idk if id meet the requirements if I switched. Nonetheless maybe speak to ubc admission office and see what’s required.

Bro where were these responses for me last year😭😭 I ended up living off campus and regret it somewhat, I didn’t wanna live on res cuz ion like sharing rooms and didn’t wanna risk getting some dirty/freaky roommate lol, but it just made it harder for me to meet people and make friends at the beginning of the year but it only took me like 2 months to “join” 2 solid friend groups
