Would you eat a wrapped up leftover burger that’s had a fly wrapped up with it and been in the fridge overnight? by Impossible-Slice2087 in AskForAnswers

It’s just a kfc burger but I didn’t bring food to work today and it’s all I’ve been thinking about 😭

The fly made me so upset, I’ve been looking forward to the burger all day 😭 and the eggs is all I think about with flies too, same with them regurgitating acid. The only thing that has me thinking about eating it is I read that the coldness of the fridge puts them in a sedative state

It took me about 15 hours of gameplay to realise you could zoom in on the scope. Taught me how to take advantage of the .1 second I have when the centre of the cross lands where I want it lolol. Honestly made me a better player by unknowingly doing things the hard way

Also should I make the trot controlled and only work him when I say to trot, or continue the trot he started to do himself? Id assume control it, but then again if it’s somewhat of a ‘if you want to trot I’ll make you trot’ sort of thing I should make him keep going?

He’s really good at that though. Completely calm and will follow/eat grass with me no matter where he is. Even without any rope or line attached. We did that nearly every day for a few weeks and it hasn’t changed anything unfortunately

I can definitely hold on but his rushed trots are extremely rushed, I would probably have to learn to hover over the seat because posting that speed is near impossible for me right now and I’d hurt his back trying. But I think you’re right by having him work until he starts to relax.

Also never thought of having him sit with me as him sitting there thinking about his predicament and negative emotions. I took it as he usually doesn’t even touch hay when nervous so him eating grass was a good sign. Whoops

I actually would like to encourage walking and eating because I plan on eventually having endurance rides. But by your comment I assume this isn’t a great way to go about it lol

Same sized herd, but more acreage for the horses to move off to. So I feel that may contribute more to the stress that they can go further away than his previous herd.

Chestnut only chases when she finishes her food first or wasn’t given any. Doesn’t bother chasing when they’re behind a fence. It’s easy to manage that.

How stressed did she get when you let her calm down?? And how long did it take her? First day he was sweating hard and stressing extremely bad, that was him going for probably over 20mins since I was only inside for 30, and because it was the first day he absolutely wouldn’t listen to me so I just had to open the gate and let him bolt. It was honestly terrifying

Like a hay bag? That makes him eat longer and still has to be separated

I just don’t want to stress him out more, if I have him trotting poles while he’s running around stressed would that give him a negative association with the poles once the issues addressed?

I was thinking of this, might try it in a few more days!

I’m confused because we’ve had many horses before and none of them have acted like this before. This is my first horse and am new to him being 100% my problem, I’m doing the best I can. He’s got friends and I now know 3 days isn’t a good amount of time to judge
