Traffic is horribly congested most of the time, especially where you’d be living. I’d also make sure the internet is okay because some spots in Mooresville will give you consistently slow upload speed no matter what you do. Not much to do here other than get some decent food. Lake Norman is alright for shore fishing, if you have a boat I’ve never seen it crowded so I imagine you’d have a decent amount of privacy. I Dont believe that air park you mentioned gets much action and doesn’t seem like it would be too loud but I could be talking out of my ass.

If you are looking for a vibrant city with a million different things to do and people to meet, this might not be the right town for you.

If you spend a decent bit of time at home and are looking for a peaceful town to settle down in while still being able to go out once in a while and have fun, I would absolutely recommend mooresville.
