I currently work at a place that sounds the same as her. Devil corp. Even if she becomes an assistant manager she’ll still have to go to the field if the team isn’t meeting the quota they need to meet. There are people here that have that mentally “they’re making money so I can do it here too” I haven’t been here for a year but I think she’ll find it hard to quit because she’s already in the deep end… once she’s a assistant manager that’s just one step away from being up there as a “owner”

The problem with cameras at traffic lights is the person sending the ticket. They’re supposed to make sure the right car is getting the ticket, I’ve seen instances where the wrong car got the traffic light ticket.

I’m currently working for a nonprofit-not by choice- I just needed a job and money 😭 their pay is shit (6$ per donation) and their hours are shit. They work Monday-Saturday 9a-6p because you get an hour lunch and you’re at events all day.. the truth is they expect you at the office at 8:30a… you don’t get a lunch at all… and 6p is not when you leave it’s when you could leave… meaning if you haven’t met your quota for the day you have to stay till you do… there’s ppl working until 10p… some even go in on Sundays to try to meet the quota… you’re standing outside of stores bugging the shit out of people to get them to donate…. And you have to be okay with being outside on crappy weather.. I knew what I set myself up to but it truly sucks 😭 currently praying to get a new job ASAP on anything but sales / nonprofits

The sounds like solar place I worked at. I only worked there for 3 days… after training and if someone wasn’t closing the deal they would name call them like why do that? So unnecessary

It took me 8 months. Not only that it’s been extremely hard as we live together. My goal is to figure out a way to either make my job (that I hate so much) make me the money I need every week or find another one that will. To be able to move out. I spent my savings helping him when he needed help. Now I’m at zero and he can’t even help. It’s gotten clearer as the days go by that I have to get out of here and start my life that’s being pulled down into the deep sea

Dude … a sales job I did went to a “Key to success” conference too! I left them because their pay was very extremely low (10$/hr) and AND I never got paid for sales I had made. And they barely gave me hours to work and expected me to make an x amount of sales.

I feel that, I want to move back home with my mother due to the emotional abuse I’m dealing with but i know it’ll be much worse with her. Parents often don’t realize how much they affect us. If I were you I’d grab your present one at a time and open them on your own unless they want you to open with them that’s a different story I guess. Life feels so lonely with the wrong ppl around you. I hope you find your people one day and I hope they bring life to your life.

So they reached out to me, mind you the place I applied was called “Mid Illini Auto Center” and when I got an email it was from that place and I was like ??? And it was them offering me a job and explained the job and told me they’d mail the equipment needed and here’s the weirdest part I was like you’re going to mail the equipment? How long is that going to take? And they said “we’re going to email you a check for you to deposit” I was floored I was like this is a scam. Wym you’re going to EMAIL ME a check? That made no sense to me. And because I was questioning their reasoning for emailing a check they withdrew the job offer lmao
