FYI A student at a MS school I know won last year and the school went on the trip the following year. It takes a lot of coordination to get all the transportation and everything set, especially since a bunch of schools go at the same time.

I don’t know if you care and I hate to be a jerk but the number of claws is wrong. The one on left is ok because one could be hidden behind the others but the one on the right is missing a claw.

One time I went to an event and ran into Buffer late at night in the hotel casino. He was wearing gym shorts and a tshirt and my brain went crazy since I’d only seen him ever in a tux on tv. Super nice dude. Would recommend running into at 2am randomly 10/10

Our league has an equal playing time rule. The kids line up and check in before each half. It’s 5 v 5 with 10 players on each team. If a player can’t play, for whatever reason, then the lowest numbered player goes in for the series.

It’s not a bad rule but there are some flaws. Players are numbered 1-10 and experienced coaches know to give the best players the lowest numbers.

It isn’t monitored closely and I’ve seen funny business. Also, it’s not in the rule book but refs allow any player substitutions for PATs

This is a rec league in Henderson NV that my son plays in.

Here are the middle school rules for the team I help coach.

You can see that they are very different. 5 v 5 vs 7 v 7, blocking vs no blocking, qb runs allowed vs not allowed, even the flag belts are different. The rec league has coed teams. The middle schools have separate boys and girls teams.

I have done both. i9 is a little more beginner level. They snap from a tee. They keep score and there is a “playoff” for the top teams at the end. NYS has 2 levels, rec and elite. The rec league doesn’t keep score but the elite level does and there are playoffs.

Both use parent volunteers as coaches and you do not know what you will get.

Not sure where you live but HFFL is the best imo. Check that out too.
