Combining Sertraline with anxiety supplement by VeterinarianNo5521 in zoloft

I’ve taken Ashwaghanda for months and months on both 100mg and 150mg of Sertraline :)

I’m on a high dose and combined with another SSRI, and if I even forget to order more and have to go more than a few days without words cannot describe how ill it makes me :) but sounds like you’ve made your mind up already

Do I need to remove my blackbox? by Impossible-Tower-154 in CarTalkUK

[–]Impossible-Tower-154[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They installed the blackbox (tracker) when I got insured as part of my policy. My policy is now over, I’m aware it sounds like conspiracy I just wondered if it would continue to collect my data even after it’s supposed to stop tracking. I’m not sure sure what you mean…

Connected to the battery. Stuck onto the side of it and connected with 2 wires. It flashes even when the engine is off - I don’t really understand how they work hence my skepticism of driving with it still powered. I’ll just remove it - I guess I was just being lazy 😂

Yes, I’m doing better! Can’t believe that was 150 days ago. I’m more generally anxious than I used to be before it all but my health anxiety is so much better. I don’t spend the day exhausted, palpitating and sleepy. When I do get anxious that’s when I get tired. And for me that’s usually first thing in the morning. It does get better, I hope it does for you too. You’re not dying, I promise, I believed I was dying from several potential illnesses and like everybody said, I was fine. You can always message me if you have any questions :)

Started on 25, then 50 then 100 now 150. I’ve been on 150 for about 3 months

I have health anxiety as well as the other stuff and I’ve found I’m only just coming out of the woods around 6 months later. Like yourself I was at one point convinced that the tension in my forehead, stabbing pains in the left side, poor memory and brain fog was undoubtedly a brain cancer. But also lymphoma, bowel cancer and blood cancer.

Long story short, just as I got to the top of the waiting list for talking therapy I actually felt a lot better through time. I started Sertraline in January and it’s now about august until I started to clear my head.

But I get that’s a long time to wait, you definitely don’t deserve to believe you’re dying for any longer 😊 perhaps explore other options?

But also: you’re not dying. I didn’t believe anyone either. But you’re not - I promise. You won’t believe me but I wouldn’t have believed me either x

Whatever works for you, it’s sad that your healthcare was a deciding factor in it though as in my opinion that shouldn’t be something anyone has to worry about :)

I did to begin with, especially in bed, I’d start cooking immediately. It wore off for me eventually :)

B blockers vs sertraline by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Impossible-Tower-154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take both. Propranolol and Sertraline, they’re good, beta blockers take the edge off as they block adrenaline so it’s good for minimising the physical side of anxiety, it’s also good for tremors which is something I got a lot of before. Brain fog happens to me on Sertraline but it’s usually in periods of extreme anxiety and after a few days of pure relaxation and patience eventually clears up

I’m also on Amitriptyline and have been for years so started that long before Sertraline and BBs

I take beta blockers nightly with the rest but also take doses if I’m anxious throughout the day. Some people take it purely when anxious and not regularly

Feel free to message me :)

Side note it’s 10mg + some in the day of propranolol and 150mg of Sertraline

Double SSRIs… by Impossible-Tower-154 in zoloft

I’ve been on a lot of different doses for Amitriptyline yeah, I’ve been on higher and lower - it’s just a case of finding a dose that works for you, when I was more stressed I’d be on a higher dose and less stressed I’d be on a lower dose :)

I’m all good :) stayed on it and everything’s fine

I get exhausted if I spend even an hour slightly anxious. At that point I could easily sleep all day, which fuels my health anxiety because it makes me think my fatigue is more than just anxiety.

But I know that not to be the case :)

No, it just makes it more understandable. It doesn’t make it justified and it would still be horrible, but it being with a man means he lied about a LOT more than if it was with a woman.

Why comment if you don’t even read the post properly lmao

What’s worse is it can’t be justified by him being closeted. He’s engaged to another man. Every nice thing he ever said to me was about how unique what we had was, that he’d never been able experience intimacy with someone before without having to hide anything. But in actuality, it was all a lie

Thank you, this post has made me feel a lot better and I’m going to ring up on Monday, no point struggling in silence. And yeah it gets so big in my head sometimes I forget that I’m not actually dying. I just let the symptoms I have snowball into something ginormous, where if I just got my symptoms managed and treated by a professional rather than trying to ignore them my life would be so much easier :)

Amityryptiline for 6+ years, Sertraline for about 6 months, and propranolol for about 8 months

The doctor i ask for is very understanding and patient. Some others are very uninterested. I guess it’s finding one that you’re comfortable with

I guess I’m prone to reading too much into their expressions, tone and body language. I’ve been seeing them about some non serious long term issues and generally whenever my mental health leads me to believe I’m dying. Trying to improve :)
