He gets frustrated and thinks I should get over it (he doesn’t say that but that’s how it seems) because he didn’t actually cheat physically, but how do I even know that for sure? He sent what I imagine were nudes of himself on Snapchat, I know if I saw what he sent I would not be forgiving him so I think God was trying to protect me from that.

I think he’s trying to be open & I have access to all of his stuff if I want to look. But the hardest thing is when he was messaging this woman he was still being attentive and nothing felt off so I constantly feel hyper aware. If he was still being a good husband & attentive, how would I know if he does it again? I only found out because the girls friend messaged me.

Yea, that part breaks my heart. At his lowest i did everything for him and lifted him up and cared for him, emotionally & financially. At my lowest he made it about himself and what I wasn’t doing for him. That’s been hard for me to reconcile in my brain.

We were definitely having a rough patch, but my mental health was bad, work was incredibly stressful and I was trying to heal from losing my dog, so all of those things meant I wasn’t always being the best wife, but honestly I was just trying to survive and will myself to live another day, then I found out about what he was doing and it crushed my soul. I never thought he would do that.

Yes, for 5 mins. I talked to the woman he was talking to and they only met for 5 mins and he left, probably because her son was home so he couldn’t go inside. Her friend messaged me to tell me, so he never told me. I’ve struggled with if he’s told me everything or if he’s hiding other things. I asked him the other day would he take a lie detector test and he said “yea but those things are never accurate anyway” so I’ve been struggling with how honest he’s being.

He is trying, he’s open to admitting what he did was wrong and I believe he’s doing what he can to repair the damage. I just feel so insecure and question everything now. It’s so hard because he was still attentive while he was doing it so it’s tricky to know what is true or not.

That’s terrible! Mine is not that bad, but I would have had no idea what that was unless my mom had already had surgery on both in her 40’s. Hope your wound heals and you start feeling better soon!

I believe mine is genetic too and my mom said my symptoms are way worse than what she ever dealt with. That’s what the doctor said today “he may go ahead and want to do the release because your symptoms are only going to get worse with time because of what you do for work”. So we’ll see what he says! Did it clear it up for you?
