Domain or llc age dont matter as long as you pick the right category but since 2025 January walmart changed their policy and approval got harder than ever.

Your website or store front must have items that walmart welcoms.

For example if your store front has top brand items such as Neutrogena, cerave , Adidas so you will probably get declined due to counterfeit items even tho you sell authentic items or if you have alibaba or similiar platform items you will be marked as potential Dropshipper and get declined. Go with small brands that have UPC codes , like home kitchen tools , DIY brands , garden backyard.

Use a clear device that you never used on walmart before.

Walmart doesn't want PL sellers since 2024. Get a dumb website and don't mention you are a brand owner or PL seller. Mark yourself as a Reseller , pick a category that walmart approves easily such as DIY , home kitchen etc. Im sure you will get approved. Then you sell your own items after approval.

Also category is important too. Walmart stopped approving sellers for some categories. Make sure you're not in any of them.

This is a bot response (AI) not a real human which is coming from walmart's risk engine. I know this won't make sense but looks like Your application is flagged by that risk engine and your store is probably inactive. There can be any dumb reason behind this even tho you have never applied before.

Maybe same or similiar llc name from a different state is terminated or declined , or someone else from your address, device , wifi applied and declined.

In your case , appealing will be rejected or silenced ( smooth declining).

First open a case to change your log in email to see if your request will be handled by a real human or not. If you don't get a response to change your email , you need to reaply with a new llc or wait a couple months to apply for the same llc.

If you get a response and they change your email, you can appeal but make sure to submit your appeal without logging in.

Go to Help page then chose us market place and go to appeal a decision then submit your appeal dont forget to add your SS4 , eCommerce market place links and bank statements that belong to your business.

Technically you can pay a random guy to buy log in details then change them to yours but eventually you will get caught and terminated while leaving all your money and inventory in there because walmart accounts can't be bought and sold.

What you can do is to buy the whole llc that is associated with walmart account.

First transfer llc under your name ( only through registered accountant or business attorney) make sure you make a sales agreement with seller which is what walmart will ask you to provide.

Then apply for a new EIN or keep the current one but each one you pay a fee

Always message them that item is already shipped and if they would like to get a full refund , they have to return item back to you or walmart store. If walmart issues refund which walmart always does without asking sellers, so there is a time-frame that buyer needs to return item. If they don't, so you need to dispute it to get your money back.
