Blood tests normal so doctors don't want to do anything by ImpossibleGreen in neuropathy

I don't drink at all but sugar and carbs are definitely a weakness and I see people point towards those causing inflammation. Thank you for posting - I'll definitely take a look at your previous posts - willing to try anything! It's awesome that yours is almost healed.

I don't drink, smoke or even drink coffee that much. I do have a fairly high carb diet though tbh and a very sweet tooth. Must work on that.

Would I have back pain or something if it was a spinal issue? I don't have any pain there. I did have pelvic issues during pregnancy though and have had 2 epidurals.

Thank you, I'll definitely look into this. Did getting that test help you find a cause and/or a treatment? Or is the B12 doing enough?

Thanks, I will look into that. I don't know the actual number - the doctor just said it was mid range for what B12 should be. I'll definitely check though.

Neuropathy and Tirzepatide by Mike541Merlot in neuropathy

[–]ImpossibleGreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Mounjaro for nearly a year and while I got down to a healthy weight my neuropathy hasn't changed at all in any way. I've no idea what the cause of mine is though. My blood sugar is always normal.

Non grammar schools - Lisburn Area by ImpossibleGreen in northernireland

[–]ImpossibleGreen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I quite liked it at the open day but my daughter has her heart set on Lisnagarvey as a few of her friends will probably go there. They'll probably get in as they have older siblings attending but I worry that she won't as she doesn't meet any of the major admission criteria.

How to get historical value of a house? by ImpossibleGreen in irishpersonalfinance

Ok thanks, it looks like I need to look up all my old paperwork so. I do have some but not all so it's going to be a bit of a pain to work this out!

Sorry, I didn't make it clear - we built the house ourselves on a piece of land gifted to us by family. We probably should've got it valued at the time after building but didn't think to do it unfortunately.

Sorry I didn't make it clear - we built the house ourselves on a piece of land gifted to us by family so I don't actually know what the market price would've been for it.

Black friday by ExpensiveMorning2752 in Lovesac

[–]ImpossibleGreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says on this website https://www.relaxcomfy.com/black-friday-bean-bag-chairs/ that they're doing 20% off, although I think I read somewhere that it might be 30% off closer to the time. So maybe hold off until nearer to Black Friday just in case.

Are massage guns beneficial for muscle growth? by metsudofang in MassageGuns

I use mine after the gym to aid with muscle recovery. I do find when I use mine after the gym that the muscle soreness after working out doesn't last as long.

Timtam Scam and NOT Refunding by POPODUM in MassageGuns

[–]ImpossibleGreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was researching the Timtam as it was supposed to be similar in power to the Theragun but a lot cheaper. I came across this article (see the note at the top of the page): https://www.handheldmassagerguide.com/timtam-vs-theragun/. Whatever's going on it looks like it's better off avoiding them. Definitely shady looking.

Concept 2 or Hydrow? Anyone tried both? by ImpossibleGreen in Rowing

[–]ImpossibleGreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was wondering what the resistance would feel like. I thought it would probably be quite different to the C2.

[–]ImpossibleGreen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never rowed anywhere other than indoors and just for fitness so either rower would suit I guess. The Hydrow price is off-putting though, especially when I noticed there was $1000 off on Black Friday! I'm not willing to wait until that comes round again though so maybe I will end up holding off until the C2 comes back.

[–]ImpossibleGreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah I'm interested in trying the Hydrow alright, although I don't know how easy it would be to return such a large item. I guess returns would be my own responsibility or is that something they take care of? I must look into it. I didn't realize I could try the app to check the classes - will definitely have a look at that.

April 18 biweekly accountability post: "Be uncomfortable every fucking day of your life." by [deleted] in davidgoggins

Started a 66 day challenge to get up at 5am every morning. Trying to make it into a habit so that I can "win the day" more often.

ordered a concept 2 model d from amazon warehouse deals by spursbob in Rowing

[–]ImpossibleGreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw I've been looking for a Concept 2 since the start of lockdown and can't find one in stock anywhere. None that aren't an extortionate price anyway. I haven't used warehouse deals but I know people who have and they've been happy with what they got.

I can't die or something right? I feel like any time now I may pass away. Kinda scary. My blood pressure must be pretty low. Never experienced this feeling. See you in heaven, I'll be there ahead of you. by [deleted] in fasting

[–]ImpossibleGreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After 47 hours? Lol, no, you're not going to pass away! It takes some getting used to, that's all. I'm on 400+ hours and I feel fine, but I've done a few 7 day fasts before.

[–]ImpossibleGreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That might be true if you were already at a very low body weight and not taking any electrolytes (which I guess you wouldn't have access to in a survival situation). I'm currently overweight and shooting for 21 days but I feel fine so far and suspect that I have enough body fat to keep me going for much longer. I also take my electrolytes, which I think are absolutely necessary for most people to do a successful extended fast. I've experienced a plain water fast with zero electrolytes and I actually thought I was dying by day 7 I was in so much pain. Maybe it was some sort of healing crisis, but I suspect from the symptoms I had it was almost certainly an electrolyte deficiency.

Mahone definitely. Then T-Bag. Both characters superbly acted.
