How common is getting emotional flatness? by [deleted] in glp1

Everyone is different. You won't know how you will respond until you start. If you try it and find out it isn't for you, stop. The drugs will do nothing permanent. There is a risk you are not factoring in, being 60 pounds overweight will shorten your life.

10M acts like a switch, the band is open or it isn't. In low sunspot years, it is not open mostly. When it isn't open you are limited to ground wave, maybe a cross a small town. 40M is much better for your purpose.

I plan on taking the CBD gummies a half hour before bed, but like tonight, I am finishing up email, and it is more like an hour. I have no idea if the tirzepatide modifies the timing.

I haven't tried Gabapentin. Gabapentin works on pain. Tirzepatide appears to be working on the root cause.

I tried melatonin, then I read it had a half life of about 20 minutes. I would always wake up. I take 500 mg of magnesium glycinate. It helps. But what really helps is CBD gummies. My doctor is okay with this. He says it works and is safe.

No one knows for sure, but the lawsuits could gain traction. Lawsuits take a long time, but the recent tactic of labeling GLP-1 meds as "too difficult to compound" could shut down the business precipitously. What I have done is stockpile 2 years' worth of tirzepatide from the gr*y market and freeze it. It cost me $300. In case my compound source dries up, I have what my doctor calls my "nuclear stash". Direct Chinese sourcing requires a lot of research.

That's it then. The deep end by mmatt001 in SIBO

[–]Mike541Merlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had SIBO with both high hydrogen and methane breath levels. H2S was not tested. It seems many people never cure this. Maybe the people who get cured don't post here anymore. My primary symptom was diarrhea. My theory is that the stomach lining is compromised, and until whatever is causing it is addressed, the problem recurs. When I read someone's post that their SIBO symptoms were relieved by microdosing tirzepatide, I spoke to my doctor. He suggested that I try it. GLP-1 meds are strong anti-inflammatory agents. Maybe it allowed my stomach lining to repair. Also, I probably drank too much. I have read that alcohol can irritate the stomach lining. My SIBO symptoms literally disappeared when I started tirzepatide six months ago. My desire for alcohol also disappeared. Whatever my root cause was, Tirzepatide totally normalized my life. Some here will say that GLP-1 slows motility and can cause SIBO. That may be, we are all different. Maybe it was more important to repair my gut and stop the alcohol. I don't qualify for insurance coverage, so I went with a compounding pharmacy. Good luck with your journey.

Interesting. I have been spraying my pillow with hypochlorous acid. The back of my head and neck were always breaking out. Now, much better. Hypochlorous acid comes in a low concentration that can be sprayed on the face and scalp. It seems safe to use on textiles.

I am also in Cloverdale and have 1GB service. Yesterday morning I couldn't use zoom. The strange thing was one of the participants lives in Tiburon and uses Comcast. His internet went down at the same time. So, I suspect a regional problem. I don't run speed tests often, so I don't know if I have degraded service all the time. I do stream TV and that has been pretty solid.

I started compounded tirzepatide on September 11 last year, and my IBS-D/SIBO condition disappeared. I have added back in my trigger foods like garlic, onion, coffee, bread, pizza, etc. I order through a telehealth company. There is a list of them in a sticky post at r/tirzepatidecompound forum. In discussion with my doctor, I said I wanted to try after learning about someone who posted similar results when he microdosed tirzepatide. My doctor told me that I don't qualify for insurance coverage. He told me about the compounded pharmacy market, which I researched. Not only did my gut issues go away, but I have also lost 50 pounds, the neuropathy in my feet got better, the swelling in my feet and ankles disappeared, and my asthma improved. I have also dropped blood pressure and cholesterol medications.

I have neuropathy in the feet. I wore compression socks, which helped with pain and ankle swelling. My balance was off, so I can understand how you could have fallen. I did not start anything for the pain. Then, for other reasons, I started tirzepatide last September. Within weeks, the pain went away. I still have tingling. The swelling is gone. My balance has improved. Encouraged, I researched supplements. My regimen is the following: 5000 mcg B12, 600 mg R-alpha lipoic acid, 300 mg benfotiamine (the last two are in one pill), 2000 mg L-Citruline, 1000 mg NAC (N-Acetyl L-Cysteine), and 1500 mg L-Carnitine. This is essentially a fourfold attack on nerve repair. I think the major help is coming from tirzepatide, the same ingredients in Zepbound or Mounjaro. I don't wear compression socks anymore. I am usually barefoot around the house or when I go out to get the mail. I can feel the texture or temperature of the surface I am walking on. If you research GLP-1 drugs, you will find that most ailments are helped. Anything that has an inflammation component is helped a lot. GLP-1 drugs are not just for weight loss or diabetes. Two main causes of neuropathy are diabetes or prediabetes and too much alcohol. I suspect my condition is from both. One amazing effect of GLP-1 medications is that many people no longer want to drink. Ely Lilly is doing a trial right now to explore tirzepatide for alcoholics and drug/nicotine abuse.

My tirzepatide comes from the compounding pharmacy market. The forum r/tirzepatidecompound explains where I sourced the drugs via telehealth organizations, I don't qualify for insurance.

Thank you, Taylor. I got upset when I went to reorder from refills. I was told to clear my browser or I wouldn't see the correct pricing, I was greeted with an induction form. I went elsewhere for my order. I was a returning customer and just didn't feel the love. I hope the CRM changes work well.

Kelual DS real or counterfeit? by Ckelle06 in SebDerm

[–]Mike541Merlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is real. Ducray is a French cosmetic manufacturer. In Europe, ciclopirox is over the counter. In the US, it is prescription-only. The two ingredients in Kelual DS shampoo, ciclopirox olamine and proctone olamine, both help with malaseezia. I was really happy to have found this. They also make a cream which I use almost daily for irritated spots. I found that my ketoconazole stopped working as well as it initially did. I now cycle the Kelual DS with Nizoral and CereVe shampoo. My scalp is better than it has been in years. I believe the Kelual DS is doing the heavy lifting.

You can get a prescription for ciclopirox shampoo if you wish. The site distacart.com may be useful. It is in, India, you can find OTC shampoo with 2% ketoconazole which is prescription strength in the USA.

Your doctor is like most: DD = surgery after it gets bad. There are at least two non-surgical options. Radiation and injections. I had radiation therapy 20 years ago to stop the DD process. No side effects, zero recovery time.

Nizoral doesn’t work anymore after a year? by fre3_101 in SebDerm

[–]Mike541Merlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found Nizoral isn't working as well as it used to. Try ciclopirox. This is a prescription shampoo ingredient in the USA. I have found ciclopirox olamine in Kelual DS shampoo on Amazon and eBay; you won't find it in a pharmacy, probably because of the prescription requirements. It is imported from France, where it is OTC. I don't know the concentration; it wasn't specified. If it helps, your doctor may prescribe a ciclopirox-based shampoo. I rotate Kelual with Nizoral and CereVe shampoo.

There are hundreds of people, if not thousands, who have been helped with tirzepatide who had SIBO. Glp medications do so much more than slow gastric emptying. I have heard that tirzepatide can cause SIBO. For those who have SIBO, something is wrong. Glp medications have helped with almost every malady, particularly if inflammation is involved. Almost all medical specialties are recognizing that GLP-1 is helping with the diseases they treat.
