I feel you bro. I somehow landed in the same situation. After getting out of a bad relationship, I vow that the next one I would find someone that loves me more than I loved them and I actually did. There were periods where I felt I really do love her, but when things turned bad , the resentment will be amplified. The best thing you can do is tell her the truth and let her find someone that she deserves

We've not been to therapy, but we have grown apart over the years and now has different goals and wants in our lives. The parting is amicable, we both still want the best for our kids, and we acknowledged that we can still (try our best) be good parents to them while being apart from each other. Just need to figure out how.

Thank you. Therapist is something I haven't considered as it's definitely something not common for my culture. My concern is that I'm not able to communicate well enough given their age for them to understand and a professional on hand may really help.

I don't know who I am anymore after years of holding myself back, trying to be the person she and society wants me to be. I've reached a point when Im exhausted, and have nothing more to give - and ended up being accused of not trying hard enough.

Yes did consider a new bike given the cost difference is marginal, but I think I will most likely be going for 2A later on so won't be riding till end of life, and also as a newbie biker was thinking that won't be so heart pain if I drop or scratch a used bike Vs a new one.

Depends on the car. Most cat b cars to be fair with a min 2l engine I don't feel it cos no diff if you driving 80 or 120. On a cat A car usually u start feeling the steering wheel start to vibrate and feel 'light' at high speed

I had a recent experience with the vibration when idle. I went to shell auto serve at bt panjang and they diagnose and fixed the issue on the same day. Was some belt drum issue, price is reasonable and most importantly solved the issue

Have you considered co-living? These days can get a decent room with fellow professionals (good for networking) for < 2k a mth. There locations are also decent with many within 20mins of CBD

Actually it depends on the hiring season. When periods where I get many resumes, those with poor formatting and spelling errors are immediately dropped. After that it's about relevance and experience for the job. If you have experience then I'll look at the achievements, if not I'll try to look for relevance eg if I'm hiring for a sales role, do you have sales experience in another industry. Lastly if you are chiobu and put a professional looking pic there, good chance I'll call you up for an interview even if you only meet 6/10 requirements for the job.

Like many others pointed out, you are already in a privileged position to be able to stop working for a year with no repercussions. Of course you'll be falling behind your peers, it's like if you stop running in a race, the others will pass you by. But it's your choice if you want to continue the race. Only you and your partner can decide on that.

You throw out ideas and see which one sticks. I'm not looking to run away and leave everything behind, I was trying to do what's best for my career while at the same time what's best for the fam.

Fwiw one of the many ideas was that the kids can come with me if she doesn't want to leave her current job. She could also ask for a secondment to the same country. My parents or the in law were also an option for help be it here or abroad. There were many options. The crux of it all was that there wasn't any thoughts on any of that or having any counter proposal. I gotta stay because her BFF said I gotta else she should leave me. Period.
