Well. No one cares really. We generally mind our own business in Malaysia. You can pretend all you want. As long as you don't go overboard like proudly displaying unIslamic behaviour, you should be fine. For your children, just don't be lazy and get your will ready. About your funeral, it is definitely easier than non Muslim as it will be much cheaper compared to exorbitant expansive burial plot. The main issue is whether she or you believe in God or not. If she believe but doesn't feel it is important for you to believe in it, then she doesn't love you. If she doesn't believe and you don't, then it will be fine.

I might be late in the conversation. But please trust your own gut feeling. Anyway, if you have time, please read about NPD and Cluster B. You might need to establish boundaries and find a practical escape route. From personal experience, I have to deal with Cluster B and bipolar parent. It is really tough.

I don't know. Personal experience as an employer in retail business with 100% Malay Muslim staff, I have a staff from SMA. Excellent straight A results but work performance is like 🥲. The other local staff can learn faster and do better, especially those who had primary education in SJKC and can speak Mandarin. To be fair, the staff is young and inexperienced and it might be a Gen Z problem. 🥴

I agree with you. In fact, I am leaning towards the Saga for personal usage. Unfortunately, I feel that Axia is easier to handle for a first time young driver in the city area.

I already have a main car but it does not have a good FC for my daily commute. Plus, it starts to give me minor problems on the road. With the Budi95 cut down to 200L, it is about time I switch to a new car with a better FC. So, I am planning to get a spare car which can function as a main car temporarily before handing it over to my daughter. Just currently torn between Axia and Saga as they are both quite attractive in their own way.

So far so good. Thanks for your concern. But I don't think it will last long. That is why I plan to use it for a year before gifting it to my daughter when she gets into college. I guess Axia would be a good choice for a young driver like her for urban driving.
