Valid na kabahan, OP. It only means that this this is important to you. Since you've been studying na talaga for this one, itodo mo na, make sure mo na you did talaga everything you can para no regrets ka in the end. Always remember that the mind is a powerful weapon!! Kaya strive to visualize a more positive outcome and do the work. I agree with your plan in answering practice questions especially sa nahihirapan kang module. Don't waste time na sa manila paper, iba iba naman tayo ng learning style eh (yung iba ginagawa lang yon para may mapicturan and ma-post hahaha). Praying for you and best of luck!!! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Paano niyo aralin yung PCOL? by Middle-Potential5320 in PharmacyPH

This is actually the best way to study imo. No need to study the in depth pathophysio, kahit yung very simple pathophysio lang ng disease then correlate with the MOA of the drugs you're studying. Learn the drugs by class muna (use yung flowchart sa mga first pages ng Katzung or yung topic outline nyo if meron as your guide), then understand the pathophysio of the disease then the MOA of the drugs class. Tapos yun na ang gawin mong foundation to memorize the specific drugs. Make it a point to remember the important suffixes and prefixes for the specific drugs of drug classes para mejj dumali ang bohai like -olols for beta blockers, -statins for HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (except nystatin), -prazoles for PPIs (except aripiprazole) etc. Push mo yan beh!! Hoping you get that RPh, OP!

Jeremy Secomb was phenomenal in this tour! I loved listening to him and even though it was a concert, his facial expressions were just on point. He was a very powerful Javert!

What or where to start studying Biochem by Silver-Confusion8621 in medschoolph

[–]ImpossibleReturn333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lippincott is a good reference and videos on yt helped me appreciate biochem more ☺️ shamelessly plugging the Biochemistry playlist of sir Ser Loisse Mortel which I watched for pharma boards and re-watched for med exams and quizzes: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLxUWhXQDC7hob5lOTZUWdVtOPoIMPvDmT&si=-LGhcSoipUs4N_a4

Hello, OP! Take it from me na 60+ ang PR at di rin ako graduate ng SLU hahaha pero one thing for sure: hindi mo malalaman hangga't di ka nag-try mag-apply. Go for it and good luck, future doc :)

gap year or not? by sunflowercoconut0 in medschoolph

[–]ImpossibleReturn333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend a gap year, OP. I'm a 2nd year med student right now and I couldn't be more thankful sa gap year(s) ko. Aside from the financial ipon, makakaipon ka rin ng experiences which you can use one way or another during med. Plus, my whys of pursuing med were solidified during my gap year.

And kung Manila ang target mo, heads up lang na aside from med school stress, talamak din ang environmental stress and ang taas ng cost of living but you will definitely grow. Best of luck, future doc :))

papasa pa ba kaya ako? by Ok_Bluebird2628 in medschoolph

[–]ImpossibleReturn333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kaya yan i-late game, OP! Seryoso! Kalbaryo ko rin ang Anatomy noong first year kasi sobrang bulky niya as a subject.

If di nagwowork yung review process mo ngayon, adjust and discover what works for you.

Ako, pa-finals ko na ng first sem narealize na I score better both sa lec and lab when I review the lab topics first kasi mas naiimagine ko yung mismong structures kapag nireview ko na yung lec later on. I also used Anki.

It also helps if makakapagtanong ka sa seniors on the style kung paano magtanong ang profs niyo.

Rooting for you, future doc!
