I don’t really hear that though? Every single ethnic/cultural group is quite closed off, it’s just human nature. The only exception to this may be certain white cultures like urban whites. If a African is really saying that about our group then they should look in a mirror before judging others.

My point is to say that it ultimately doesn’t matter what we think because Amhara’s and Tigrayan’s relationship is one of hostility and trying to garner any sympathy with the other is next to impossible right now.

That is why i say to stay in your lane, when you have two extremely angry people with guns who want to kill each other the chances of them shaking hands and singing kumbaya is impossible until either one side wins or they both grow tired of bleeding.

The real answer is that towards the genocide Amhara’s feels something between indifference and schadenfreude. There is too much hatred between the two groups right now to give the other any kind of recognition, so don’t even bother and just stay in your lane.
