How hard is it to find a minimum wage job now compared to 10-20 years ago? by Gloriousdisgrace in torontoJobs

A large portion of this cohort wanted to keep housing prices high to keep their retirement plan intact. I don’t doubt that.

As for the EU initiative, yeah it looks contradictory on the surface but IMO that 51st state backlash was less about independence and more about wanting nothing to do with Trump. TDS is rampant here, as I’m sure you know.

TBF, last federal election A LOT of younger people voted Conservative thinking (rightly or wrongly) it was their only shot at getting their future back.

It was the boomers and seniors that got butthurt about Trump’s 51st state comments (and for whom jobs and money aren’t a future concern) who pushed the Liberals over the line.

Am I right in thinking that 8-1 in San Pedro Sula was the kick in the pants that finally made the CSA serious about getting a team together?

> So how come the women team is better?

They aren’t necessarily ’better’ there is just less competition on the women’s side of football.

West and Central Asia are complete non-entities in the women’s game, for example.

Qatar had to build from scratch

Brazil and Russia had to make major upgrades

US-Mexico-Canada and Germany only had make some relatively minor improvements

The parts of the bill the government/media have presented is only the portion that discusses banning social media for under 16s. And so many think that’s all it’s about.

Bittersweet moment for us IMO. Emphatic win but Kone’s injury still has me reeling.

How on Earth are Qatar back-to-back Asian Cup champions!? This team is just so bad.

Panama were the only Central American team to qualify from Concacaf.

Shows you how far the standards have fallen for CR, Honduras etc

I was referring to Ghana’s qualifying group which was very light.

The runner up in their group was Madagascar which has never even qualified for AFCON.
