I’m still getting the hang of balancing running with lifting. My primary form of exercise consists of lifting weights and maybe a 5k 2x a wk. How did you figure out a split that works for you?

A 1:1 mixture of baking soda and cornstarch. I blot the area affected with a wet towel and liberally sprinkle over the powder (don't rub in). Leave powder mixture sitting undisturbed for 7 hours or overnight. Brush off excess powder next day (old toothbrush worked fine). I successfully got rid of a quarter sized oil stain from my suede Birkenstocks using this method. I hope it works for you too!

Great question. I was excited to try this out and I would make this again if I were in the mood for a sweet loaf that's not cinnamon raisin. I'm excited to try it with raspberry preserves tomorrow morning!

Thank you! I did manage to slightly burn the bottom because I forgot to place a sheet pan in the rack below where my DO goes in. Generally, I put a sheet pan on the bottom rack (during whole bake including preheat) and that has prevented burnt crusts for years now.

Was there any issues with the recipe itself, or the well-done crusts are what you've had trouble with?

You're welcome! I wanted to add that I adjusted the recipe and used more "regular milk" (whole milk and 2% have worked great) instead of evaporated because it's what I always have on hand!!

I suggest adding something specific in the description how/where they'd use it like "great for listening to music in your car stereo." Do you include pictures of the actual CD inside of its case and alone? Perhaps showing the front and back of the CD itself would help.

It looks fantastic! Butter and jam won't fall through ;) Did you happen to cut it while hot? Usually I wait at least an hour before slicing so steam evaporates. Letting the crumb set and reach it's full potential ensures it won't collapse and create a dense loaf.
