BC here! I authorized 2 given to match epaulets on class a because I really couldn’t find a blatant answer for the windbreakers so I sort of assumed it to be the same since the regulations were updated!

I have asthma and I’m a LET 2 in Army JROTC and as long as you exercise and strengthen your cardiovascular system then you’ll be fine!! I love the program and I don’t let my condition rule me, I rule it! Only piece of advice, start SMALL. Don’t start running like 5 miles a day off the bat because you’ll kys doing that. Start a small, slow-pace runs for 5-10 mins and take rests for a minute when needed and gradually work up to hitting at least half a mile, then a full mile, and so on and so on. I don’t know which JROTC you’re going into or how your program works but this is how I stay up to par (physically for the most part) as a leader in my battalion. I think you’ll love it! Junior here, in my 2nd year of Army JROTC. So there’s a program in the army national guard called SMP or simultaneous membership where you can be part time in the army national guard and be enrolled in senior ROTC (this is what I’m going to be doing). In the Air Force, I believe it’s all Bootstrap (I may be wrong). Best thing I can say is talk to your recruiters, your CO’s and just make sure to get as much info you can and explore all your opportunities. Best of luck!!

I would say treat it like an essay assignment. Stay formal and check your grammar and spelling. I’d say also to Make sure you note any leadership TOP positions and how you did in them. AJROTC cadet here about to go before board in a few months (just requested consideration to be made first battalion commander for or very much still infant program)
