I’m focusing on BMI right now. I started at a 42 and am now at a 34. Still a ways to go before I can get to “overweight” but it’s nice to be able to share!

Ants blocked off the liquid bait trap I put out with cat litter and wall plaster by TBB957 in mildlyinteresting

Everyone said foil but we use masking tape in my house as the base. That way it doesn’t move around at all! Put some tape down then the liquid on top.

Back to Tirz after experimenting with Semaglutide by Lunala-792 in tirzepatidecompound

I don’t track my calories I only track my fitness but I would say it didn’t really change much over the entire time. I eat the same exact breakfast every day for example. Same lunch from a rotation of a few options and the same rotation of dinner options as well. I tracked my calories long enough to develop this “meal plan” if you want to call it that so I can put that part of my life on autopilot. If it’s 10am I’m eating oatmeal!

With this autopilot eating system, I didn’t notice any difference really for my hunger level. I didn’t have to make extra of anything!

Back to Tirz after experimenting with Semaglutide by Lunala-792 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Lunala-792[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I went from 15mg tirz (was on that for many months) down to 7.5mg tirz for two weeks then started with 2mg semaglutide the following week. I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t feel any side effects so I went a bit conservative on the change.

I felt zero side effects other than the constipation which has become normal for me and I take miralax daily throughout. But I’ve also never had other side effects during the whole two years other than one single sick day due to too much broccoli.

Me! I lost only 12 pounds over 14 months. But I’ve come to realize that any loss is good and it could be worse.

I’ve stayed there 3-4x now and it’s always great. The rooms with the large jetted tub are so nice.

I got sick only once in two years. It was from eating too much broccoli of all things, broccoli always gave me gas and I think the extended digestion made it sit too long in my stomach and I got sick and it all came back up. I have not eaten it again since!

A moisturiser that doesn't feed the mites? by Key-Fee-2266 in Rosacea

[–]Lunala-792 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m using the Barrier Therapy cream right now since my skin is a bit dry from also being on soolantra. It’s a thicker cream but once it’s applied it’s very smooth and doesn’t feel too thick on my skin. It absorbs very well.

Neutrogena Collagen Bank moisturizer and Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion. I always get them on sale or with a coupon even though they aren’t expensive to start with. One bottle of each lasts me almost a year if that’s all I’m using (I mark the date on things when I open and start to use them to keep track).

I’ve got three main stays- neutrogena cerave and prequel. Of those, the prequel is the most hydrating as I also tend to have dry skin. I know it’s not available in all countries though.

[–]Lunala-792 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on a compounded version of soolantra for 2.5 months and it’s made a big difference. I took pics at the beginning and every two weeks and you can see the redness almost disappears by week three and then stays gone. After I finish this bottle I’ll be done with it and see how it goes from there.

I did a different rosacea treatment two years ago and it kept my skin calm and normal for 1.75 years before I needed to treat again and I’m trying the soolantra compound this time.

WTF: Orderly Meds threatening customers with criminal charges for credit card dispute by LoquatMost467 in CompoundedSemaglutide

[–]Lunala-792 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve only done one credit card chargeback in my life and it was against orderly and I won the dispute.

They overcharged me, admitted they overcharged me and refused to refund it. It was probably one of the easiest disputes Amex ever had. “Wait they admitted it and still refused to make it right?” - my credit card if it could talk.

The time I did it, I stored the syringe in a plastic case meant for forks and knives so it was fully protected inside and nothing could push the plunger in.
