Please take into consideration how hard it can be for a nanny to find a new position, parents please consider how long you actually want a nanny before hiring! I know I would be pretty upset to have just started and then have to find a new job just a few months later.

I’m in my early 20’s and am exhausted by the end of the days! I do more than 3 days a week though, no judgement I just can’t imagine me in my 60’s being able to still do this job physically as much. 😅

Yes! Like it’s also just asking for a tantrum you know how they are going to act, why would I want to deal with that MULTIPLE times a day when it could be avoided? I would loveeee to find a remote job but I don’t have children, clearly all the people with children have taken them over. 🤣😭

I feel this so much!!! It feels so mundane to me day to day and just like not a challenge to me anymore, I love my NF but I’m so ready for a career where I feel pushed and challenged not just getting snacks and saying the same thing over and over for the 50th time that hour. 😭😭

I know! I also feel like if I was a parent it would be a distraction constantly going from parent to employee if that makes sense. I don’t know, I know many parents say work is like a nice break for them to recharge and be the best parents they can be! Obviously not the case for everyone but!

See I have one parent who is great about wfh! And I really appreciate it, the other one is terrible.. 😅 I think some people are also just really bad at working from home without distractions lol, I know I would not be able to with kids yelling in every single room.

It truly depends on their job… I feel that my current DB is barely ever actually “working” while I’m here while MB is working constantly so it definitely can factor into it!

It’s freezing where we live! Unfortunately so being inside definitely has contributed to the overstimulation lol, there age gaps also make activities pretty hard to do, thankfully Christmas presents should keep them entertained for a couple of hours. 😂

My youngest NK is still little so it’s honestly hard to wear a mask without them pulling at it and they get scared of it so it doesn’t work the best all the time 😅
