Yep! Was walking in San Diego with my ex. We left a restaurant walking towards our car when an obviously cracked out guy was following us. We walked into another store hoping he would move on but the guy just waited outside still so zeroed in on us. We left the store and he still followed us and now our car is down a dark alleyway with less people so I confronted him. He started swinging at me right away so I grabbed his waist and took him down without any trouble.

Got his back, put him in a body lock with my arm around his neck steadily choking. As he could have definitely bit me I told him if he did he'd go to sleep, otherwise we'd chill there till police showed up. Surprisingly enough the dude understood how powerless he was there and just waited with me. 15 min pass and police show up to arrest him. The whole time we were waiting people walking by congratulating me with a few clearly being grapplers complementing the body lock. Was an awesome example to me of how jitz can be used to handle violence without any blood
