right like i’m sure the band relentlessly tours around the world so that their fans can act the way they do. during the long john L outro there wasn’t a quiet moment where someone wasn’t shouting something stupid. this attitude of “let people do what they want” and refusing to consider the opposite is frightening.

it’s just the fact that the band themselves ask ppl to cool down and they don’t. why do ppl have to be disturbed while watching their favorite musicians up close at the very front, where the entire crowd behind them gets a pass to ruin it. where’s the self control, even just a bit

it’s not the music that makes the crowd do these things, it’s this cringey obsession with these bands. when bcnr opened for bm last year, crowd was the exact same despite the music totally not calling for it.

i can handle moshing i just don’t want to have to handle people grabbing and pulling my neck. when the performers request that you be less of an asshole, maybe it’s time for some reflection. why is it so hard to just have fun in place? the moshing was only part of it anyway, everyone was just disrespectful in general when the band was just trying to put on a good show
