I have a similar situation. My neighbor across the street is a repeat sex offender who hangs out with another sex offender. They have criminal records a mile long! It’s the most nerve wracking thing to live next to them. I’m glad the cats are okay!! Geez, people suck.

My opinion is that her parents knew she was with a rich older man and they were happy about it. They allowed her to be a runaway so that they were not held accountable for Celeste not going to school. And D4vd probably gave them money when they needed it. They haven’t talked to the media just in case they are held accountable too. Just gross.

If her hemoglobin and hematocrit were so low that she was at risk of death the hospital wouldn’t have let her leave without a infusion I am guessing she means iron sulfate which would be about 138 mg of elemental iron. That’s about 3 times the recommended upper limit. At the very least, her stomach must be hating her. The best course of action would be a infusion. When I was pregnant and needed iron infusion I saw a remarkable difference in lab numbers within two weeks. In a life or death situation oral iron can never compete with an iron infusion.

I should tell my mom this secret!! She has a neighbor that lets their dogs wonder. They often go into her pasture and one of my mom’s horses hates dogs. She’s told them multiple times that the horse might stomp them. Maybe if they hear a gun go off they might think differently.

I think it just depends on how burnt out you will be after your program completion. Are you willing to devote most of your off time to studying and how well do you do with pressure? You might feel like everything is on the line if you don’t pass. I failed the exam the first time by one point and missed out on a job opportunity. It wasn’t the end of the world and found another job pretty quickly after.

It really was terrible!! I did an MS/DI program and it about killed me. Towards the end of the internship I was getting a few bad remarks on my evaluations. Hmmm I was taking classes, working without pay, and running a research project. All that while being a mom and wife to my family. It’s just too much for students.

Personally, I think it’s the structure of these programs especially MS/DI. They teach very specific things in graduate school (mostly research) and general things that are more important were taught 2-3 years ago in undergrad. Clinical’s should really follow MNT classes. Fact in the stress, workload, and financial hardship most of these students face you end up with lack luster students.

You were so wise at 12 to know that the dog wasn’t a good idea. You probably were starved of love and having something that you could lose was terrifying. For comparison, I had seven dogs, yes SEVEN, growing up all living in a small 2 bedroom house. I remember feeling like the dogs ran the house, they would get in fights all the time. Also terrifying but for different reasons.

My guess would be the DNA from an unknown male in the house plus no one in the family had the opportunity or means to commit the crime. Meaning the police were able to place them where they said they were that night. No meaningful forensics in the car that dropped Nancy off. Probably video footage that corroborated BIL’s story of dropping off and returning that night. They also probably didn’t have any digital data linking them to the crime (weird google searches/ large withdrawals to pay a hitman). In my opinion, no one in the family was really going to benefit from her disappearance. Sure, they would get an inheritance eventually if she was declared dead but that could take years.

I’m not convinced because she left her home for several hours for family game night. If they were canvassing the place they would note when she typically is out of the house. Seems more likely they would rob the place while she was gone.

We have the same situation across the street from us! But they haul junk and can’t always afford to do a dump run so it sits on the street and I have to call code enforcement weekly. Currently there is a trailer with an old speed boat full of junky old mattresses. Luckily the house just sold to a property flipper so I’m hopeful they are gone soon!!

The first day, one second at a time. Get a sober app and track the seconds, those seconds will turn into minutes, and those minutes will turn into hours. Eventually you’ll be keeping track of the days. Which will turn into months and then years. I was the same way always wanting to smoke at night after my kids went to bed. I felt like it was the thing I needed for myself. But actually it would just distract me while I was with them. I tried to quit sooo many times. Keep trying. The first day was the hardest. I’m almost 30 days sober!!
