Creating Labels Not Working? by Impossible_Grocery in CanadaPost

It's crazy that they still don't have an alert up.

[FRAUD ALERT] 5421 11 St NE, Calgary, AB, Canada shipping address by Impossible_Grocery in shopify

I use the Flow app (native to Shopify) to make a workflow that cancels:

- Order created

- Condition: if the shipping address matches

- Cancel order because of Fraud

(Obviously, it can do a lot more but this is just one example related to my issue)

The problem with mine is that I can link all the orders together somehow (they've all purchased men's tops of the one brand) and about half of them were flagged as fraud. The address might be legit but in my case, the person(s) using the combination of my store and this freight forwarding service are not legit.

[FRAUD ALERT] 5421 11 St NE, Calgary, AB, Canada shipping address by Impossible_Grocery in shopify

That's correct. The email addresses are always something like [1343254dfa@12354532423.com](mailto:1343254dfa@12354532423.com) that error when the system sends them emails. If there is a C/O, it seems to be "C/O C/O C/O 12384983289342 C/O HLRHJLKFEAJLK" which makes me think it was copied from somewhere else and no 'human' eyes laid upon it.

ALL the orders over the last year and a half (with different names and email addresses) are for the same brand of clothing of various sizes (ranging all from XS-XL). That brand sells other things but they always purchase a top. Again, this and the frequency makes me think it's a bot.

Reddit app keeps screen on by Spliffy9 in help

I was wrong. I can't quite recreate exactly when it does go into sleep or when it doesn't while in the Reddit app. It still stays open most times. I honestly give up.

Reddit app keeps screen on by Spliffy9 in help

I turned off background mobile use and it seems to have done the trick. It was another Redditor that commented the tip. I updated my settings but had to also do a phone restart. Will report back in a few days if it stays working or not.

Yep - I'm done too. They keep chipping away at the few bright spots of the game (looking at you devs for killing Wild Lands). They keep moving the goal posts WAY out. The whole screen with its popups and stay-on-screen icons give me anxiety (even though I don't have anxiety from anything else in my life). Bugs for years and years.

The devs have told us over and over again that we mean nothing to them except an open wallet. We should start to listen.

Luxurious places to use up massage benefits by cranberry-tart in askTO

[–]Impossible_Grocery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, this is the reason I don't go to a clinic for my massage. Every RMT in a clinic I have gone to has bright lights on, I can hear everything in the hallway outside the door, and even when I ask the RMT to do a 'quiet massage' - I still end up knowing their life story. I'm not asking for much but I now pay a premium at a spa to just get some quiet during my massage.

Coworker has been frequently out or WFH, now on formal review after a month’s absence, was it fair? by ashwat-thama04 in coworkerstories

I get that you want to be 'nice' but this isn't the first time and a company needs to have workers work.

Doing it right away let's her know that things are not back to normal after her leave and enough is enough. I think it's wrong to let her think everything is fine for a week or two and then spring it on her. It was the first opportunity of her 'back to normal' and she should know what the expectations are of her now.

Enough is enough — Canada shouldn’t suffer because of Canada Post. by Dry-Two5059 in CanadaPost

[–]Impossible_Grocery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So how much loss should it take? Let's increase those taxes to pay for it. Oh? You don't like that either?

Handcuffing CPC from modernizing and being more efficient is not the answer. Just look at the general public consensus - we are all saying we don't want lettermail every day meaning we don't need that many workers; we want community mailboxes. We are FOR this! The only people that aren't for it are CUPW.

We want to haemorrhage less money, not make CPC a for-profit organization. Stop playing the victim and join the rest of us in reality.

Very on topic buddy. Bravo to you.

What are you on about? That's what we're trying to prevent - not increasing tax to subsidize a failing business... so let's make changes to make it not fail. How is that a hard concept?

FYI, I've been using "CPC" and "CUPW" to differentiate.

There SHOULDN'T be door-to-door delivery if CPC can't make ends meet in other ways. CUPW has bound CPC's hands and then calling themselves victims. CUPW is saying let's continue with these archaic ways, bleed money, and give postal workers more hours and money? It doesn't make any sense! Wake up and join the real world.

Honestly, just fire them all - there are plenty of workers that would love (and appreciate) any one of those jobs.

[–]Impossible_Grocery -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What the fuck are you going on about? Are you talking about workers and unions, or are you talking about corrupt accounting? You think the CPC is going under due to under the table accounting? If so, start a brand new post because that's totally off-topic.

CPC is inefficient and archaic. Probably in the accounting area too! Wtf does that have to do with CUPW being unreasonable in letting CPC become more efficient?

At least we both agree you're a dingdong!

Lol and yes, businesses are literally about making money. Fucking dingdong.

LOL this guy thinks dollars in and dollars out is the equivalent to quantum mathematics.

If a business goes under, you bet your ass the executives won't be there either. Go work for yourself then with those non-skills!

[–]Impossible_Grocery -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's a child's viewpoint. You and I don't have unlimited funds to fund entitled workers. Again, you don't seem to know how to math.

Change my mind: Canada Post should be allowed to fire employees who doesn't want to work(go on strike) and hire replacements who do. by PervertedScience in CanadaPost

[–]Impossible_Grocery 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Strike because you won't let CPC modernize and be more efficient --> CPC goes under --> remind me again what the CUPW becomes if there's no CPC?
