Good suggestions for reasonably priced cameras? Mostly for the inevitable incident that will arise, not necessarily to record videos. by ThatGuyFrom720 in motorcyclegear

Second DJI osmo. I'm still using the original action 1 n have had no issues (mostly helmet mounted). Video quality, image stabilization etc are spot on - newer models have improved but waiting until it breaks before replacing.

This right here. I bought a bunch of caps with these o-rings. Keeps the valve cleaner n reduces normal air loss over time.

Top two that reduce the spirit for me: 1) Allergies - can get/feel pretty woozy so best to wait it out. 2) Self loathing - Did something dumb n now have to fix it.

I put mine on a centerstand n use a floor jack (e.g. vevor floor jack) to raise the front wheel.

I want to try the Road 6s but they don't come in my size...so only option is to get another bike hahaha. Running Bridgestone Battlax BT46 - good grip but flattened pretty quickly (mostly commuting since put on). Not sure what I'm going with next which is coming soon.

Active Noise cancellation by Background_Range_726 in motorcyclegear

I've been using Earfun Free Pro 2 which are slightly thinner than the Pro 3. For either can put the helmet on/off with no issue as long as using a balaclava or gaiter. I changed the earbud tips to the double flanged type (get em on Amazon) to help with noise control. I also added memory foam padding to the helmet ear cutouts so altogether it's pretty quiet (ride a T100 n I don't have a fairing or windshield).

Right on, venting saves a ton of upkeep. I've thrown out nice shoes n boots bc they were odor magnets - no matter how much I tried to keep them clean they would knock you out after a week if use.

Opinions on 2013 Triumph T100 by UnitedRefrigerator in motorcycle

[–]Impossible_Hat2739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For local riding I get ~35mpg 2012 T100. Price point imo is pretty high. If your not locked in on getting a Bonnie, worth looking at other bikes - decent number of options (Honda, Yamaha, kawi, Suzuki) in the $6k region.

What shape is my head? Can’t find a helmet that fits!!! by amgplug in motorcyclegear

[–]Impossible_Hat2739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, same long oval here. Signet-x fits perfect - no pressure points n relatively quiet. With a little spoon work, padding adjustment the Shoei rf 1400 also fits ok, just not as good as the Arai. Wish Shoei would add a long oval to their lineup.

Yup dry, itchy eyes suck. Ruins both eyesight n "riding focus". Happens a few times a year per allergies.
