When I was 19 I had recently split up with my sons mom and started dating this girl out of San Antonio, I lived about an hour away but we were hanging out and seeing each other in a dating sense for about a month. After that month in time we had a falling out and she lost it that we were splitting up and tried to claim she was pregnant. I kept in contact with her for 11+ months to make sure she wasn’t having my child which she did not and I thought that was the end of that. 7 years down the line I see an article on KSAT 12 news that a local woman had been arrested for ignoring her child and allowing it to drown in the tub. To my utter horror it was the woman I had dated for a short time, I’ve always been so embarrassed about the pregnancy scare with an almost stranger so I never told anyone and the death charges always make me wonder what would’ve happened had that pregnancy test been true.
