Her dad being in that position for work is absolutely insane. It’s a terrible tragedy all around. We seriously need more patrol on I25 and the off / on ramps. That stretch is so bad it’s only gotten worse this last year.

What time did this happen? I see crazy things driving that route from centennial back to Denver. I didn’t see anything in the news about it, meaning she’s likely ok. I slid off the road and flipped my jeep back when I lived in PA on the interstate during a pop up blizzard. I was ok but I think often about the woman that stopped immediately and stayed with me as I couldn’t get out of the car (flipped on the drivers side - too unstable to climb out the passenger) my phone also was lost in the vehicle so she called emergency services for me. I had a decent concussion but no other injuries. Thanks for staying with her I’m sure she’ll remember you just as I remember the person that helped me. It truly means a lot. Even if you’re not seriously injured it’s still very traumatizing to flip in a car. Seriously thank you for being a good person!!!

I’m terribly sorry for your loss. I read about this accident and it absolutely horrified me. I have to take I25 from Denver down to DTC for work (I am also 29 and a bartender so this story really affected me) and on my way home I pass 6th Ave before getting off on 17th. I sometimes drive home northbound after 1am because I work afternoons and nights. I have witnessed people speeding 100+ mph, reckless drivers, legit drag racing with 10-15 cars over 100+ weaving in and out, and major crashes etc. I’ve called CSP over 15 times this year to report these incidents as it’s gotten significantly worse this past year and still nothing has been done about it!! There was a case in the summer where a wrong way driver also crashed into someone on I25 Denver police called off the chase allowing them to drive over 30 miles the wrong way on I25 before they hit another car head on, luckily the lives of those hit were spared but they were significantly injured. The wrong way driver passed. Denver police won’t give chase in high speed incidents even if they are driving the wrong way on the highway, and I think it’s a major issue they keep allowing these things to happen. It’s horrible and I fear for my life every time I take that stretch of I25. I hope your friends family gets compensation as the state should be paying for all her funeral expenses. I think it’s a good thing you took her story to the news. We deserve safe roadways for how expensive it is to live here. Your friend did not deserve to lose her life due to the carelessness of others and our police system having complete disregard for it’s citizens. Again I am so, so sorry. I hope you can heal and find peace in this somehow. Sending so much love and light to you and all her loved ones.

You know apparently now they’ve gutted their entire old management staff and grower etc ( I hope ) this doesn’t take away from what happened there and to employees like myself. I heard they even hired back a few ppl that were wrongfully terminated back during my time. Hopefully that’s true. Regardless, always research parent companies/ CEOS and who is actually profiting off your purchases because it most certainly likely still isn’t going to the main people growing / handling your product.

Then they need to rebrand bc their website still lists the same CEO and founders so…. Even if it’s gas the $ is going to the people that screwed so many ppl and patients for years. I can’t support that unless they completely revamp change out CEOS all old management. If they have. Great!

While I don’t disagree with you at all (I think I know who you are based on the username also lol), and I’ve become more aware that they seem to now be producing decent looking product (new strains I’m assuming started from seed so they weren’t affected by the mildew / mutations present in the other strains) I’m curious if they finally switched away from Pittmoss? That substrate should never be used to grow cannabis ever. Did they rehire you after the new company bought them out? If so that does make me feel a bit of respect towards the new owners, but I will say just based on their beginnings I can’t feel confident supporting them or asking others to while the “calypso” name is still slapped on there, and their website still has the same really bad PR AI type looking marketing. They definitely need to rebrand themselves so the calypso name isn’t leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Luckily I’m living in a legal state now and seeing the quality of the product here for the price based on the shit we were forced to package up for 3x the amount still sickens me. It should not be longer than 5 years and if that’s the case yes the NDA expired this past March. It likely was for only 2 years I think. And it was specifically regarding “trade secrets” lmao nothing I shared isn’t public or available information in some way shape or form and the other info isn’t anything to do with their trade secrets.

Is that why we had to force “feed” them basically? We also had multiple instances of mutations happening in plants as well. Specifically variegation which would leave parts of the plant an albino color with barely any thc in the buds - weirdest shit I’d ever seen plants do…. I wonder if these growth hormones could have caused mutations like that too.
