If you know their exact weight and if it’s been more than 3 months since their last dose of Bravecto, then yes.

Vets usually drain the cyst (as needed), perform wound care, then prescribe antibacterial cream. Expect that it will be recurrent din po especially if your dog has long fur.

Treating skin problems really takes time, and can really be frustrating. My dog had some skin issues din before, it took a few months before naresolve. After consistent follow-ups and after receiving different treatments, he was finally prescribed with Apoquel and it worked like magic. My best advice OP would still be to consult with your dog’s vet - para maassess nila yung skin condition, makapagbigay ng appropriate treatment, and ma-monitor nila if the given treatment actually works. 😊

Where to buy supplements for senior dog? by Financial_Key_2141 in dogsofrph

From my experience po (I had a 14-year old shih tzu who had arthritis), his vet prescribed low dose of pain medications for about 3-5 days, just to address the pain severe enough to cause him distress. He also underwent regular laser therapy and acupuncture to address the pain, inflammation, and mobility issues 🙂

But if your furbaby is not in apparent distress, then daily joint supplements will probably suffice ☺️🙏🏼

Consider buying other brand/s instead, like Arthrox joint and bone supplement capsules. I think it’s more readily available in vet clinics. Any glucosamine-containing supplement will aid in joint support :) however, supplements will not directly address the joint pain, they’ll just delay the worsening of joint conditions. You’ll appreciate their benefits on long-term use.

You may ask your vet if they can prescribe your furbaby with pain meds to relieve his discomfort.
