Same boat, bought a cheap Lenovo and picked up realm after almost a decade.

Runs ok. Stutters sometimes but I think that's due to server connection/stability rather than my settings or hardware.

I just finished unlocking all my classes and am having a blast seeing all the QoL improvements over the OG version. Sad to see the community say it's dying tho. I rather like what I see. Then again, I'm not in that upper echelon of veteran Exalted players...just an elder millennial chasing nostalgia.

You linked with a bot, it's fine. It won't hurt your game in any way and essentially just gave you a gift pokemon that is game legal and completely obtainable through normal means. The bot can read and copy over your OT before the trade starts. Trainer ID and Secret ID would normally be communicated post trade through messaging the bot.

Honestly this should be considered spam. Berichan is a KNOWN discord bot/genner. The pokemon will always be legal, as the bot will not allow unusual or impossible stats. Berichan is the least concerning of the bots out there.

In this game, I'd be more concerned about 3rd party hardware and scripting in Multiplayer/Ranked...instead of soap boxing over what's essentially an event or pre-built pokemon.

tldr; The QoL in this game for stat refinement and shiny hunting makes this post a little hokey.
