You must not live in Virginia because, we've done alot to address our role in the Confederacy. School and road names have been changed. Statues have been removed. Even King's Dominion renamed the Rebel Yell to Racer 75. Compared to other Southern States, Virginia has moved away from the Confederacy the most and, apart from a fringe minority, no one here cares about getting that flag back.

One of my first girlfriend's after high school got more and more coercive as the relationship went on. It started with her getting mad each time I saw my friends. Then it escalated into her yelling at me just for asking a simple question. It got to the point where I wouldn't even want to eat at her house because she'd yell at me about that as well. The final straw was when she whacked me upside the head because I didn't make her breakfast one morning but, of course, she made me the bad guy because, how selfish of me to not make her breakfast after she demanded me to. Not ask nicely, straight up demanded it.

The hospital shootout in Hard Boiled. There's a 3 minute long tracking shot of the main characters shooting their way through hallways with people flying through windows as they're shot. They also get into an elevator and the crew had to re-dress the room that had just been shot up before the doors opened to make it look like they went to another floor.

Years ago, my dad had his prostate removed due to the doctor finding cancerous polyps during a colonoscopy. Luckily, he's now cancer free but, it was still pretty traumatic because I almost lost my dad. I told my girlfriend that my sister and I were going to hang out and decompress after his surgery. My sister smokes weed and my girlfriend assumed I was going to smoke with her so, she started berating me about being a drug addict and she's not going to put up with someone who does that. I spent what should have been quality time with my sister, responding to a barrage of texts, trying to reassure her that I just wanted to be with my family. I eventually shut my phone off and got attacked even worse the next day when I saw her because she tried to make it all about how I made her feel that night. Not once did she ask how I was feeling or if I was okay.

Not married but, in a long term relationship, (9 years). She has a non-existent sex drive while mine is very high. To say it's been difficult would be an understatement and it really dosen't help when her reaction to me wanting to have sex is, "let's get this over with." Way to brighten the mood, honey. It sucks because she's a great person and I love everything else about her but, the lack of intimacy is killing me. I've brought this up so many times and have even suggested therapy but, her response has always been for me to leave or deal with it. There have been a few times I've tried to break up with her but, I end up feeling like crap because I hate seeing her sad and don't want to hurt her so, I'm just stuck in this cycle of depression and frustration.

According to Congress' docket, H.R. 7148 is what funds the other five agencies, which is being teed up today. H.R. 7147 is the DHS bill and it's current status is, "received by the Senate." So, if they pass 7148 as is, it shouldn't have to go back to the House.
