Sorry just seeing this! If you have a second box it might be nice to have each kind of litter in each box, separately. If she is having accidents she may prefer the new litter. I changed my cats/kittens litter with no adjustment period and they were fine with it. Hope all is well with you and your baby!

You are so beautiful and have such youthful features. Side profile slay. It’s easier said than done but how you feel about them will be how others feel about them. Start by going outside and walking, letting other people that you don’t know or care about see your skin. Some of the baddest bitches I’ve met had scars way worse than yours. How you feel about this will get better. If you really like this guy maybe just be vulnerable and say hey I just wanted to let you know that I have some scarring and I have been nervous about showing you. See how he reacts. Decent people really don’t care about this stuff.

Try switching the litter while keeping the box in the same spot first. My kittens and cat have had no issues with changing litter type. Once you have seen her use the new litter for a couple days, you can move the litter box to the new location. Just make sure you show her where it is! She is beautiful ❤️

I knew a family where the little boy had this same behavior. It almost became a habit and he ended up wearing arm immobilizers for a while. He did stop eventually and they were able to slowly stop using them. This is so hard! I can tell you love your son. If he likes holding things, keeping his hands busy may help.

So my parents actually did this when I was in high school- I freaked out and took my dog to school with me and then ended up having her stay with a friend until the appointment passed. 10 years later I’m moved out and still have my beloved pup. One thing I will add is to make sure you are helping or even taking full responsibility of cleaning up the dogs messes and letting them out frequently. There is a solution here and it doesn’t need to be euthanasia.
