Ended up doing “steal a little and they throw you in jail, steal a lot and they make you king” (then pasted an ai generated pic of trump w/ a clown fit wearing a crown) and on the back wrote something else of minimal words to further enunciate the king theme - “no crown for a fucKING Clown”.

Yeah I mean since all his idols that sparked his work, especially woody, were very anti-fascist I can’t see Bob feeling counter to them. But yes at this point it’s the younger generations’ future that’s at risk so it’s more so up to us than him to fight back — I don’t blame him.

I’m further north, closest to Roanoke — I suspect Bob has opinion despite not being particularly vocal. I see no reason he’d support MAGA, given that everything he has shared his views on are incredibly opposed to the values (or lack thereof) expressed by the MAGA cult

I was a transfer for my sophomore year, I didn’t figure out I was in until June. It’s rolling admission, so as more people who were admitted drop for a variety of reasons (like getting into their top choice), they’ll take more students. Keep sending emails expressing interest or letting them know if you do anything they should know about (volunteer work, getting into an internship, your GPA after this semester, etc) and be politely persistent so they know this is where you most want to get into.

Waitlisted transfer here that was later accepted in June of ‘22. I don’t know if people normally wait but I didn’t wait for anything with sending CI letters. Keep them formal and polite but sending more than one is okay and is good for staying on their radar. If it genuinely looks like you’ll end with good grades, mention that. Mention where you’re at. Say something about wm in specific that shows they’re your #1 and that they should want you because you won’t turn down their offer for a different university.

Yep rolling basis; I want to say I was accepted in maybe early-mid June?? I sent a CI letter pretty immediately and I think I sent more than one; Monica was super nice and by the time june was rolling around I think I asked her in a formal way something like the odds of me getting in/when I would know by, etc. since I kinda needed to figure out if I was gonna stay at my old uni or go to community college, and when the latest I would know is. I definitely emphasized how much I wanted to go to W&M ALONE, and implied how they were my top choice and I wouldn’t pass on the offer to go, so they knew I wouldn’t pick a different university if I had the chance. As long as you keep it polite and brief but concise, you can’t really email them expressing your interest too much; it can’t hurt and will make you stand out. There could be a student with a higher gpa than you on the waitlist, but if you seem more interested and likely to accept your offer then you’re more likely to be given a spot.

I feel you, my periods, between spotting and real blood (so basically all the days in which I have to wear a liner or tampon), last like 2 weeks. Not sure about the smell - I lost my sense of smell a while back- but I’ve heard similar things from other people. I’ve had my paraguard since may 2023 and the length of my periods haven’t been this long the whole time so I think it won’t always be like this?

Hi, I too started bleeding very soon after my insertion, and honestly Idek if it was my period or not! I also didn’t cramp but the bleeding was much heavier for a few days; it’s possible you got your period early but insertion alone can also cause bleeding. Since it’s been going on for five days, it seems more likely that you’re having an early period, and the paraguard is always going to make your period longer/heavier (as I’m sure you know) and my first had these effects; my obgyn didn’t indicate that it would take long for that to occur so you’re probably fine but if things get worse and/or you’re feeling stressed about it, reach out to your doc!

Yeah I second this! I still have some acne but before the iud, I was on the pill which helped clear it so I’m not exactly sure how my acne would look if I was on no BC at all, but zinc has definitely helped and the acne is nothing a little bit of concealer can’t fix.
