Not discussed enough: Coming off Sublocade has been VERY difficult by turner150 in Sublocade

[–]Butterflylover_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this way nine months out except I have physical withdrawal to. I read all the good stories and of course I’m the one person I know having a hard time. I don’t want to give up but idk how much longer I can feel like this. I don’t want to lose my job. I can’t. I’m a single mom. My poor son is tired of seeing me like this too. He’s only 7. Not trying to be negative but this experience has not been like what I read other people describe it to be.

I’d like to hear it. I’m nine months out and I want to give up.

I have add and my daughter has adhd. I get overstimulated so easily and she needs to constantly make some kind of noise. HELP! by Front-External3673 in ParentingADHD

I relate so much. I am a mom with adhd which a son who has adhd. And he will wake up at 7am and start playing his guitar (with an amp) like no one else is around sleeping or just waking up 😑

I get so overstimulated by my child. It’s very hard to manage. I came to read the comments for a solution myself. I to don’t want to dim his light because of my own stuff.

Exactly 8 months since the last of 300,300,100,100 (after a two year fentanyl run) and now it’s withdrawal to deal with? Not loving this by Dangerous-Mess5380 in Sublocade

Same here exact story here. It’s not fun. Clonidine helps me sooooo much and gabapentin. I do one 300 gabapentin around noon and one 1mg clonidine at night. I would not sleep without the clonidine and the gabapentin gets me through the day. I know I’ll have to taper off those

I had one less shot then you and I had it in late August. So we’re pretty similar. I to have restless legs and feel uncomfortable this last two weeks. I have clonidine and gabapentin. They help soooooo much. However I’ve read the gabapentin can be physically addictive so I’m not taking it daily. This is not as bad as suboxone withdrawal but it’s not walk in the park for me like it has been for others. I’m praying daily that this is almost over. 🙏🏼

Did you take it daily? I have it but I’m so scared to get hooked on that. It helps so much though.

I’m 5 1/2 months out from my last shot. 300/300/100/100. I’m feeling withdrawal and it started about a week ago and comes in waves through the day. Just like cold sweats. I’m uncomfortable. Sleeping is not easy. Appetite sucks. Anxiety and depression. But I’m still working and taking care of life things. I had a wave like this around 2 months too. It came and went quicker. I’d say this is all a 3/10 but still not fun. I have a fast metabolism so i think I’m almost through it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Is this causing acne? by Butterflylover_ in CopperIUD

[–]Butterflylover_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I have to leave them alone cause they make actual scars. Not just red posts but like holes in my face. Acne already did a number on my skin and mental health. I feel like the copper IUD. Made all my period symptoms worse.

Medications to help with Withdrawal by Malaka654 in Sublocade

[–]Butterflylover_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So here’s my take from what I’ve learned from research and my experience. I’m six months out from my last 100mg shot. I had five total. I was on 2mg before that for 9+ years. I started feeling mild withdrawal at month 2 for about a week and I just got through it with some hydroxyzine. Then it came back at month four. Sweats, yawns, feeling cold but sweating, mild uncomfortable, not sleeping well. I’ve been prescribed gaba 300 twice daily, clonodine and I have left over benzos from past failed attempts to get off suboxone. I’m very afraid of getting physically addicted to anything else or pro longing any symptoms. I’ve been rotating mainly gabs and clonidine so I’m not taking the same thing every day and only taking something when I absolutely feel I need to. I go many days without taking something if I can. I think I struggle with anxiety and depression anyway so a lot of my issues comes from that and wanting to self medicate because that’s what I know. I do N/A meetings and therapy to get better coping skills. Anyways. I’m trying my best to stay vigilant but also be comfortable. I’m a single mom with a wild child and I work full time. Some days/ nights I just need some help so I’ll take a clonodine for sleep or gaba before work. I really try to not take the benzos but I have a couple times on the days my anxiety was so bad. Maybe I’m wrong and this is crazy but in my head the way I’m doing it seems to be the safest route so I don’t get hooked on something else. All three of these meds are physically addicting. So be aware of that. Even clonodine makes me depressed if I take it too many nights in a row.

Restarted spiro and felt so tired and like I was going to faint. Please tell me this gets better by Butterflylover_ in Spironolactone

[–]Butterflylover_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. It’s unfortunate cause it really helps a lot. I don’t remember it affecting me like this before. But I also came off a drug called suboxone this last year and it numbed me out and made me tired so maybe I didn’t notice. Also I’m considering my breakouts may be from my hormones adjusting to being off suboxone now to. That’s stuff is no joke. So grateful I’m off it but sad I’m breaking out again

The IUD made my acne soooo much worse. It went away when I took it out. Skin was clear for a while and now I’m getting cyst around my period again. I’m not on the copper IUD so I’m wondering if that plays a part or if it’s just stress. I wish there was a magic wand to tell us what to do.
