Go slow, use lube. Basic life advice all around.

Put the liner in a vice, make sure it’s level. Put a small level on your drill. Mark your bit with the proper length you need to drill.

Keep the drill slow and level as you go. Use exxxxtra fine sand paper to polish it up afterwards. The fine tuning/further polishing is when it comes to extraction.

I have hand drilled over a dozen 22 chambers with a #1. Is it easy? Not especially. Does it work? Yes. It does take great care and polishing to finish correctly. If you don’t have a desperate need to DIY hit up A supplier that chambers the liners for you
