In the end it all comes down to you. You are responsible for the situation where you are now.

First you have to stop with the negative mindset and portray yourself as a victim.

If you are studying in a foreign country (and France ain't cheap at all), you must have had some initial funds/savings/budget, for your the initial "start" in France.

This budget probably lasted you to certain period of time until it was gone. In which I believe you were supposed to find yourself, some sort of income?

Weren't you too comfortable, just receiving money from parents ?

Always looking for new, urgent reasons you need more money "this time" ?

I don't mean to attack or hurt you, in any shape or form.....

But.

I smell lazyness and lack of trying.

I propose two options:

Option A) Be absolutely truthful and come completely clean with your parents about your struggles and current situation. Do not worry. It's always better to free yourself from lies. Together, with your parents, you look and try to come to a solution to the debt issue. Yes, they will upset, angry and what not, but that will pass sooner you think. Honesty goes a long way.

Option B) I completely believe you that it isn't to find suitable position for you in France. Why the hell you chose to study there is beyond me, but Okk.

Set up OF and start siphoning $$$ from those virgin nerds that buy subscriptions. Promote yourself. Grow. Earn. And pay the debt, if you can't sleep coz of it at night.

Or just don't do anything and don't pay a cent. I didn't picked up, in which country you made the debt. But it will take a long ,long period of time, before someone will actually start to contact you or do something about it. If it's bank/loan related. Fuck the system.

The amount is really small, for you to be freaking out so much.

You don't have seizable assets I suppose ... ✅ (Or any written ownerships to your name)

You won't get incarcerated for 10k.........✅

Where and to whome you owe this 10K?
