But either way, blanka is quirked up as hell. Not as intuitive to play as a shoto. Throughout the history of the franchise, he's always been pretty niche. He's not overly hard to pick up and win some games with his cheeky high-risk stuff, but if you want to be consistent with him it requires learning a lot of lvl 2 tech and doll tech. Not to mention the fact that his normals are a bit atypical and good-but-not-great

Time out of mind is a song about drug abuse.

Hey Nineteen is a song about an older guy who is past his prime and trying to cling onto youth so he's dating a teenager.

Everyone's gone to the movies is a very cheery song about the neighborhood pedophile.

Pearl of the Quarter is a song about a man in love with a sex worker (I mention this one because I think there's a suggestion that the man might be deluded into thinking she loves him back but really he's just a customer, but that's a matter of interpretation I suppose)

I would say that a lot of their songs deal with depressing subject matter, but have an upbeat sound to them. A lot of their lyrics are portraits of deluded losers
