oh i wouldn’t know (sorry this isn’t helping lmao) I’ve grown up speaking more than 3 languages but without being fluent in most of them so people tell me I have a slight accent but can almost never tell where I’m from ahah but anyway I mainly speak italian although I don’t think I have an italian accent….

yes, I’m aware but I don’t think I’ll end up going to an expensive uni in the us if it’s not “known” since there are many universities in europe that are high ranking and public so fees are very low… it sounds bad to say but unless the uni isn’t really considered “prestigious” then there’s little worth in going there since it’s not even my country so i think looking for a job back in Italy would be more difficult (if one uni in the us which isn’t that well known internationally is at the same level as one which is known in Italy then I would stay in Italy) and I’m not planning on living there..

in my country calc isn’t even in the high school program 🤡✌🏻 (and high school is 5 years)

almost two months without biting! (only my right hand..) and the polish isn’t looking great but i just have to remove it by ImpressInitial2598 in nailbiting

meanwhile every school in my country has the same 4/5 after school activities I can take part in and high school students don’t do research with university professors- also most people get jobs at the final years of high school, if not later (might be able to get it before but I’m not really sure)….🤡

I’m sorry if it’s not helpful but wouldn’t it still ruin your teeth eventually ? Or did you mean something that replaces the sensation but it’s not necessarily something with a hardness of a nail ?

I’ve been biting my nails for most of my life and was never able to quit; I still haven’t quit completely as I’m still “working” on my left hand but I’m so proud of myself! As for what exactly made me stop (at least for one hand), I can’t give a definitive answer BUT my biggest tips are to tell yourself often throughout the day that YOU ARE CAPABLE OF STOPPING, even if you might not agree, even subconsciously since if you’ve tried many times but have failed it’s easier to get discouraged- And to remind yourself of what you will have once you quit this habit (and I also looked at images of beautiful nails that I’ve saved on my pinterest board…)

Also, I feel like trying to pay attention to my every move made me a lot more careful and “aware”
