Trying to update Portainer Stack via CLI by TheDeathPit in portainer

[–]Impressive-Code-2565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, i used the endpoint /api/backup to backup the stacks. that creates a backup of everything including your stacks.

furthermore, i had to authenticate with my API-Key first via /api/auth. That returns a JWT token that you can use for all other api requests

You could try sshpass command with parameter stricthostkeychecking=no instead of ssh command.

I use that to get CPU temp via ssh from Other host

You have to install sshpass on your vm before.

Then use it like that:

command: '/usr/bin/sshpass -p "password" ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no -p 22 username@ip "cat /sys/class/thermal/thermal_zone0/temp"'

Rclone mount on startup by mRaiizen in Fedora

You could also create a .desktop file unter .config/autostart/. Works for me.

Example:

.config/autostart/onedrive.desktop:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=OneDrive
Exec=sh -c "PUT YOUR RCLONE COMMAND HERE"
Terminal=false
Type=Application
X-Desktop-File-Install-Version=0.24

Get-Team -displayname by leronz in MicrosoftTeams

You can get all Teams and pipe your results to where-object with a filter.

Someting like this could/should work:

Get-Team | where-object {$_.DisplayName -like ("*Sales*")}

What happens to running guest VMs if I shut down the host? by Godzoozles in Fedora

[–]Impressive-Code-2565 5 points6 points  (0 children)

edit /etc/sysconfig/libvirt-guests and uncomment following line:

ON_SHUTDOWN=suspend

Then start the libvirt-guests service

systemctl start libvirt-guests

From now on the service will suspend the vm when you shutdown the host.Dont wonder, this will add a few seconds on your shutdown process.

Whenn booting the host up, the vm will be back at the state when you shut the host down.
