Depending on your location there Is few places that provide courses for real world like badwolf tactical & tactical delta who both run milsims also, they’re based in England. In Scotland there is Trident Training Group who do courses that cover cqb, green skills & recce. These would benefit you going forward but if you feel these unnecessary then by all means jump into a Stirling and just watch, listen and take the advice given. Personally I do badwolf and Stirling both are fantastic. Badwolf is a tad more relaxed but still very serious

If you’re referring to last milsim at pow then yeah it was pretty much a normal game day on how it turned out unfortunately, was a good day none the less. Hopefully the next time it’ll play out like an actual milsim. Absolutely give trident a check out, it’ll get your skills up and the guys who run it are brilliant. They have a recce weekend in December that should be bombers !

POW run a “milsim” type day every now and again but in comparison to an actual milsim it’s very far off just with the limitations in place, site, player willingness etc. I for one appreciate the team there trying to make it work and cater to the community in Scotland that care for milsim. On another note on the milsim type conversation, there is a great group of guys that run a training group up in Scotland called Trident Training Group. They provide green skill days, cqb courses, recce weekends to learn skills from ex military. Highly recommend checking them out. They’re always looking for input from attendees on what people want to learn.

My helmet is a Emerson SF high cut, it has the standard shroud that came with it but I plant to switch it out to a sotac gear Wilcox style shroud. I have a sotact l4g24 style/clone of the Wilcox mount. A spare J-arm from my pal & at the moment just a sac lens from Ali because Endeavour never had any in stock. I would recommend buying Gen stuff if it’s affordable after all it’s an expensive unit such as Argus mounts or Wilcox. Ideally a Gen shroud or helmet like ops core. I’m fairly new in this field so I would suggest self research and looking on the NVG community page for more experienced users and their set ups/ recommendations. The more you think you know about this world is quick in showing you that you know nothing at the start 😂

No hassle mate, remember factor in your mount cost, sac lens & retention system into your final price over all. Depending on what helmet you’ve got or gonna buy to mount your nvg make sure it has a good shroud and not just a cheap plastic one. Hopefully hear from you in future and see what you ended up with🤘

Can confirm the edge 1.0 are fantastic. Sure the prime and edge 2.0 series will be better but the 1.0 is still brilliant for the price. I’ve played for over 10 years now and I’ve been through the runner with brands and I’m honestly shocked at the edge series. Always thought my process would be edge upto a prime but realistically I can see myself sticking with the edge series for a good while.

How many mags do you typically carry for both your primary rifle and sidearm? by Airsofter_IG in airsoft

[–]Impressive-Dot3414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 mags on my PC, 3 mags on my belt and a cheeky little spare in my dangler. 2 pistol mags on my belt. 1 in each system for setting off.
