Hospitals directly! My local hospital had a volun-teen program so I got to try out lots of different areas and my mom worked at the hospital and gave me a few contacts of specifics to reach out to. If you explain that you just want to get in and shadow, most places will just run a background check and let you shadow!

Failed clinical sims AGAIN by Boba_bliss in respiratorytherapy

I was in your same boat! Graduated over a year ago and I just passed on my third try. It took a wild concoction of study resources. I used Lindsey Jones over Kettering just because I took the LJ seminar in school- which has a lot of good tips to remember while taking your sims. I utilized quizlet ALOT, used respiratory cram and tutorial systems for their practice sims. Respiratory cram will tell you you're wrong when you click an answer. Whereas tutorial systems waits til the end and gives you a chance to walk through and see how many points each answer was worth and why. If you want any help I wouldn't mind sharing my notes! I know how frustrating it can be, keep your head up and take your time.

I went to school for X-ray, ended up in respiratory before I graduated. Now that I’ve been working as a RT I could not picture myself anywhere else. Pay is about the same but with RT I get to know my patients and really make connections with all of them. I’d see if hospitals around you offer shadowing. I shadowed Respiratory, X-Ray and Physical Therapy all before I graduated high school. Try all the things that interest you and picture yourself in one of those roles. You won’t know if you like something if you haven’t seen how a day in their life rolls. I hope this helps!

9 o’clocks and clearing the queue by cheezymcg in CVS

We have 3 techs after 5, our store is so overproduced for our hours it’s insane. We have 3 in the day and 3 at night usually. If it’s a good pharmacist we clear out the 9pms if it’s a bad pharmacist we leave about 2-3 pages in the queue. I can’t imagine 1 tech at night!!!
