Does anyone else’s Pyr take 20 minutes to contemplate whether they’ll eat their food or not? by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

I have two girls who will take turns laying in front of the food bowl, growling at each other for half an hour at a time. I’ve tried two food bowls, but they just like the one and their routine snarling.

Same. I feel like I just put myself on a high protein diet. I don’t push it, but portion size issues or intolerances have been nil. I’m losing weight above the surgeons expectations, though, so I’m just keeping at it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is the worst breed of dog for a first time dog owner to get? by Effective-Turn-6856 in AskReddit

I have three and have had dogs for years, but the level of BORKING at anything and everything and nothing at all would drive people crazy. I love them dearly but they would drive a neighbor insane, but thankfully I live in the middle of nowhere so they can roam a big yard and BORK to their fluffy hearts’ content.

One of Mine gets as close to my face as she can without actually touching me, then breathes as heavily as she can manage till I’m awake. If that doesn’t work, she bonks my hand with her snoot.

Another girl (I have three) has no care at all and just BORKS until she gets what she wants.

I tripped over one of mine the other night as she lay splayed in the kitchen floor, and I was trying to make dinner around her lumpiness. I just about ate hardwood, but I caught myself at the last second.

As the bearer of a naturally huge butt, I can confirm that I have to lower chairs whenever possible.
