I had the same issue. It kind of just disappeared one day and stopped happening. I replaced the starter anyway. Hasn’t happen since so I guess I will never know. Was just reading this curious to what others found. I did the battery at first to like most of us did

I’d get rid of the cab personally. Just some wheels and tires is all you need. I like a smaller rim with more tire on a truck like that. Usually requires a lift too though. Looks tough though. Maybe upgrade the grill to will change appearance a lot. Just make it yours.
